I think we'd pretty much all agree that the best damn thing Bruce has ever done is the ridiculously AWESOME movie that is Die Hard. It just kinda goes w/o saying.

So instead of getting a thread that has the same response over & over again , I'm asking people to choose a movie other than Die Hard as their favorite 'Bruce Willis' flick.

... & yeah , if you want to opt for Die Hard's sequels , that's okay , too ( though I , personally , think they're quite inferior & not all that great ).

So I'm thinkin' that if Die Hard is taken off the table , then most people are going to respond w/Pulp Fiction ... which I'd agree with.

Other than that , though , I'm gonna go w/12 Monkeys. A very cool movie & by the end of it , you're like , "What the f**k?!" ... but in a good way.

Unbreakable.

It's a hard movie to watch, and I hated it the first time I saw it, but the more I see it, the more I appreciate it's complexity and depth, and his amazingly subdued performance.

I like "Unbreakable" as well. Powerful and understated performance.

Not really a "Bruce" movie, but I thought he was fantastic in Pulp Fiction.
When he was trying out the weapons right before he clubbed the anal intruder...classic!

He was really good in Alpha Dog as the father of Johnny Truelove.
Not a huge movie, but I really liked it.

Bruce has laid a few eggs in the past. That end-of-the-world Asteroids movie really stunk up the place.

Unbreakable, Sixth Sense and 12 Monkeys. Three very good and very different performances.

I loved him as the voice of RJ the raccoon in Over The Hedge. We were watching that movie and I recognized the voice and said, "No shit, that's Bruce Willis."

Film starring Bruce Willis (as the lead):

'Unbreakable'

Film with Bruce Willis in it:

'Pulp Fiction'

Film with Bruce Willis Cameo:

'Planet Terror'

Bruce's performance in "Lucky Number Slevin" was pretty damn good, I thought. Interesting movie, too. If you've never seen it, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Pulp Fiction
The Last Boy Scout
Sixth Sense
Unbreakable
Sin City
Hostage

I like him in most of his roles.

You gotta love him as Elizabeth's dad on "Friends". He scared the crap out of Ross.

If we're gonna go TV , then I'd say that I much prefer ol' Bruce in the role of David Addison from Moonlighting.

'Course ... that is one of my all-time favorite shows.

I agree with this one.

I think Unbreakable is better than both Pulp Fiction and any of the Die Hards, so I agree... 😀

Dude, I love that movie! Way underrated.
