Aikman is statistically no better than Big Ben at this point in his career.

Aikman's high for TD's was 23. Ben's is 32.
Big Ben was 15-1 as a rookie, 5-2 in his first 5 years in the playoffs and has a career 50-20 record, one title.
Aikman was 0-11 as a rookie, 38-30 in his first 5 years, two titles.
You can't knock Ben without admitting he's just as good, if not better than Troy. They're about on-par with each other at this point in their respective careers, all things considered.
Plus Ben never had Emmitt Smith as a running back... but that's no excuse, because he's still just as good or better than Troy.
And there's nothing saying Ben won't be in the HOF one day, either. Don't hate.
But much of the hype began after Jones bought the team, forced out Landry and brought in 'his guys'.
The Cowboys were just as successful before Jerry Jones (in the 70's), but weren't hyped as 'America's Team' year in and out.
Shows what you know (or choose to ignore).
Pittsburgh was the FIRST team to win 4 super Bowls and did it in only 6 years.
And the Niners had 5 before Dallas (remember
'the catch' or Steve Young stomping that ass?).
Dallas is ARGUABLY the greatest franchise the NFL has ever seen.
But it is FAR from definite.
Espescially since Burgh has beaten Dallas
TWICE in head-to-head Super-Bowl competition.
