Debunking Michael Jackson haters

If he wasn't famous he probably would have got the shit kicked out of him for sleeping in the same bed as other people's kids, anyone else would, I can't speak for America but that's the way it is around here.

I'll bite simply because it'll put me closer to 5,000 posts...

Maybe only two came forward because those were the only two he touched. Maybe only two came forward because the others were too afraid to come forward. That does happen you know, people would rather forget something like that then have to face their abuser. Both were not proven to be lying. Only one ever admitted to lying, the other was paid off.

The truth is nobody really knows if he actually did anything or not. But as i keep saying, i'd rather spend every dime i had proving i was innocent. Instead of paying people off leaving others to make their own conclusions.

No one would ever lie in an interview, or in a court of law for that matter, we all know that. Again, extreme naivety here. Why would Jackson or his managers release anything that would reflect negatively on him? That is not the way things work in the real world.

He mighthave been a child molester, but since the victims (if they were) discarded the truth by accepting a payoff, then fuck them, says I. If he did it, well he's dead now so he can't do it again.

And not only this, but if I had a child (and I don't but I can imagine if/when I do, this feeling would be multiplied) who was molested by someone, there would be no amount of money that would make me shut my mouth. I don't care who you are but if you hurt my kid, I would ruin you.

As for is he guilty or not? People are going to debate this until the end of time. Personally, the guy put out great music and I like to listen to it. :shrug:

Anybody who is innocent and pays off accusers is a moron. Because those people then look like they did something wrong. So, the money spent on trial to prove without a shadow of a doubt they were innocent is minimal to the giant pile of shit their reputation turns into.
 
I personally do not think that Michael Jackson was a pedophile. While, I will never be 100% sure, some of the fact do not add up. When Neverland ranch was searched, there was no finding of child pornography. Almost all pedophiles have a stash of child porn.

Two, during the criminal trial, they could not find multiple victims. With access to many children, you would think there would be more victims. On the contrary, many children actually testified in the defense of Michael Jackson. Even after his death, you do not have tons of children coming out of the wordworrk, claiming to have been molested by Jackson. This seems odd to me.

Settlements happen, even if you are not a fault. That is fact of life. Trials cost money. They take time and effort. And at the end of the day, you never know how a civil jury will come back with a verdict.

You may say people that settle are morons. However, I think that is easier said when you are not a defendant.

Don't people in this thread understand that they can't prove that MJ was a paedophile? Yes, we cannot dissprove it either, but as I sit here watching trailer trash "Cops" with an American voiceover saying, "All suspects are innocent until proven guilty", I get a feeling that that kind of human right has been thrown completely out the window here.

Just because MJ was a Pop Icon and he was in the Public Eye, doesn't make him more deserving of persecution and false accusations.

This isn't a thread about us knowing for sure that MJ did it, and it's not a thread about knowing for sure that MJ didn't do it. It's a thread about fans putting in a good word for a guy that in our eyes, deserve the respect given to the 'King of Pop', and not the kind of dissrespect given to a guilty as charged, run of the mill paedophile.


So, in saying that, all I'm trying to say now is that until he has been proven guilty, I just believe the right thing to do is to treat MJ with the respect he deserves.

Maybe i'd just value my reputation with the entire planet more then he did. If you were innocent and presented the evidence to prove that. A jury has no choice but to render a not guilty verdict.
