Animated cartoons or videogames that should not be movies

What Action, Sci-fi or Fantasy animated series or videogames that haven't been made into movies do you think directors should not consider about turning into a film.

IMHO, these choices were not executed well:
Heman
By the look of the trailers, Thundercats
The Avengers
Bewitched
Inspector Gadget
Popeye
The Pretender
Richie Rich
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Scooby-Doo
TMNT 2 and 3

This should not have even been a choice: Josie and the Pussycats

I would say most of the classics should have stayed as just games or tv shows. Very rarely do they ever get them right. It kills me to see stuff I loved so much as a kid all messed up. The newest Batman cartoon is horrible and is the newest TMNT cartoon. I would hate to see the Smurfs but they are doing that one. I hope they never do a live action Rainbow Bright or do a Sonic the Hedgehog or Felix the Cat or sooo many others. Of course if they ever do a Care Bears we can send them Slacker and Natural since they already are Rainbow Bear and Sunshine Bear.

It is going to be effing hilarious if it is a Smurfs movie with actors. :omg:

I can maybe see some success with young kids if it is an animated Disney or Pixar movie. Of course, most animated cartoon movies that follow an animated series on TV are actually a 90 minute series finale episode.

I'm a little confused with what you're asking for. They definitely should not make a live action version of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Since there has only been speculation on the possibility of it being made, it technically qualifies.

As for movies that mucked up franchises, I think the entire Resident Evil movie series mucked up what could have been an actual scary movie. They made some really bad moves.

They changed what made the video game series good, the story.

They also fired Romero, who was the father of zombie movies in America and perhaps even the world.

Attributing the movies to the Resident Evil video game series is almost as bad as calling Final Fantasy: Spirits within, a final fantasy movie.

Personally, I'd like to see them try to mess up a movie from one of those old NES games made by KEMCO. Those games were so bad, they were good.

I am a big DBZ fan and I plan on only watching the new movie with a few friends as a drinking game. Like everytime a character that never existed shows up ya drink. Or every time the characters say something retarded ya drink...figure I'll be passing out in the first twenty that way. :gbtoast:

I'll add to the list God of War. Visually I don't see them ever being able to duplicate the feel of this game series let alone the characters. It's pretty epic. Unless...Zac Snyder did it...then MAYBE it'd have a chance.
