Anybody else hate the term "tickle rape"?

Personally I hate the words "molest", "ticklephile" and "rape" I absolutely hate anytime I hear these words. I know some will say and argue, the context on which they are using the word is in jest and pure fun, just playing around and teasing with each other in playful assertive tickle banter back and forth with each other. But to be honest I can't stand those words, especially the words "molest" and "rape." These words make me cringe. There has to be some other better and greater fun way to tease and banter with each other in jest-without using these terrible powerful words-sadly depict horrible nonconsensual sexual acts against a woman. Molestation and rape is a horrible thing that could ever happen to a woman-sadly too many women sadly have been a victim to this. I see nothing funny in using the words "tickle molest" "molest" or especially "ticklerape" in jest. To me there is nothing cute or really funny about it. I am sorry if this makes me sound not very open minded or a prude, because I can assure you I am not a prude. I can be very openminded and think myself pretty laid back in general at times.

However this is just something I strongly hate hearing and if I never heard the words "molest," "tickle molest" or "tickle rape" or "rape" again in playful tickle jest I would be very happy and glad however I know that probably is not likely to happen. We all have different views that is what makes us individuals, yes some can jest like this if they want-however don't expect me to take it lightly or find it humorous if it is said in an attempt to jest to me or expect me to use these terms because I find these words very offensive and definitely something not to joke about. I am glad you made this thread this has been a gripe and a thought on my mind for a real long time. I hate these words being used in jest as well and wondered if I was the only one that felt this way or not. Not because they are terrible words but because of the sad terrible nonconsensual sexual acts against a woman it depicts.

That is how I feel on this. I mean if you are going to have words you use in teasing and jest. How about "ravage" or "tickle ravage" or "tickle dominate" "pounce" or "tickle pounce" or something like this-still get the same dynamic effect minus the sad negative terrible connotation that the word rape implies, just a thought.

This is the first time I've seen this thread. Go to fetlife and you'll find that ticklerape is a fetish there.

There's a lot of words and meanings I don't like. Takes all sorts to make a species. Misuse of words is perhaps worse, since it can tone down the meaning of words used to describe some very nasty events.

Rape isn't a gender-specific crime, and please don't argue that it is.

Etc~

I've heard of it. =/

I've heard of it when I was in grade school. Personally - depending upon the situation - I'm not offended. There's a difference between being tickled by consent and being clandestinely attacked from behind with a massive amount of tickles that overwhelm someone and that they find to be abusive enough to where they would call it rape.

rape1
-noun
4.
an act of plunder, violent seizure, or abuse; despoliation; violation: the rape of the countryside.

I'm pretty much certain that those who call it "tickle rape" do have a point - that if they are approached with non-consensual tickles that are the equivalent of an attack to them, than YES, it CAN be considered "tickle rape".

It just depends on the circumstances.

I don't find humor in it either, but alas it is a word that depicts a real thing. It is basically another word for a non-con tickling attack. It has happened to me before, and has pissed me off fiercely. X@ Not only that, but I have been the victim of molestation from my stepfather and actual sexual rape by my biological father, so at any rate, it's only logical that sneaky, non-con tickles would elicit a horrible beast of rage out of me and possibly involve the non-consensual tickler receiving a broken noes. X@
