Tickling Trick

No, you don't have to do it. It's a choice you make each and every time somebody wants to discuss this topic. And the way you ask the question suggests that on some level you understand how uncool it is not only to push your morality on others, but to derail every thread of this nature into a huge argument of right and wrong; effectively bullying people from having this discussion.

Or, I could just be, y'know, being sarcastic, given the hard-on this community has for creepy bullshit and putting their own selfishness above the well-being of their so-called "friends".

And people are free to have a discussion on the matter. I'm offering my opinion. And, unfortunately for you, my opinion is usually the correct one. Sorry if that gets your dander up.

I find it interesting that you refer to those of us who object to your brand of Pharisaical judgement as "trolls,"

If the shoe fits...

when it's you and one or two others who troll this forum looking for threads like this so you can stir up trouble. I get that you have ethical issues with people doing things like this, but that doesn't give you the right to push your ethics on the rest of us.

Me and one or two others, eh? You may want to re-read the thread and see how many people actually agree with the guy. And if we're going to point fingers, I also notice that it's usually you and two or three other guys with similar screennames and sporadic posting history who only seem to pop up when this topic comes up to rail against the wacky notion that women have the right to decide who touches them and under what circumstances.

My best suggestion to you is if you don't like a thread topic like this, instead of donning your robes of priestly judgement, just move on to another thread.

You can do the same, you know. If you don't like what I have to say, feel free to ignore me, 'cause I certainly don't give two shits about you lecturing me. You wanna talk about trolling? Fine. I'm on topic, even though I disagree with the OP. You, and the rest of the peanut gallery, tend to pop up and flame the people who disagree as self-righteous and tell them not to post unless they agree with the OP. News flash, sparky; that's bullying people into not discussing the topic, AND going off-topic to insult the poster rather than add to the discussion.

Happy New Year.

Whoa. Way to lambast the entire community. It takes a lot of anger to go that far. I guess that's what happens when time and time again, people refuse to go along with your moral imperatives. How you keep from going postal, I'll never know. :illogical

Yes, a completely irrelevant and unsolicited opinion. The OP asked for ideas on how to coerce his friend. Nobody asked for your Jerry Falwell impersonation.

And, unfortunately for you, my opinion is usually the correct one.
I'll ignore the colossal arrogance in such a statement for the moment, and just say that opinions aren't correct or incorrect. They're just opinions.

Sorry if that gets your dander up.
LOL. The only thing that's up around here is somebody's high horse, and it isn't mine. If this community is that "creepy" to you, may I suggest you find another one.

He was asking for advice, not stating an opinion. Perhaps YOU should re-read the thread.

If you'll notice, I haven't said whether or not the OP's intentions are good or bad. It's not my place to say, nor yours either. If I felt strongly enough about a behavior, I might say is that I personally wouldn't do that myself. Because guess what. My ideas of right and wrong aren't carved in stone tablets for the rest of the world to follow. Yours aren't either, and quite frankly it takes a lot gall to elevate one's own opinion as "the correct one."

Yes, I can and often do ignore your posts. On this particular occasion I noticed nobody was challenging your judgmental decrees so I was compelled to respond. Had you simply let this thread take its natural course rather than steering it into oblivion, I would have simply offered advice to the OP like the good people in the first five responses of this thread did.

You wanna talk about trolling? Fine. I'm on topic, even though I disagree with the OP. You, and the rest of the peanut gallery, tend to pop up and flame the people who disagree as self-righteous and tell them not to post unless they agree with the OP.
First, your response was not on topic. The guy asked for advice and your post only offered self-righteous judgement. As for flaming, I'm not the one who flamed the entire TMF as a community that has a "hard-on" for "creepy bullshit."

Way to go, Sparky.

It's absolutely his place to comment on the behavior, as it was posted in a public forum and is therefore subject to criticism by the public. If one wants to be sheltered from criticism for their thoughts and actions then I'd suggest they post only to a select few private individuals that they're sure would have no issue with the topic.

Moving back on topic here, or trying to anyway, I agree with what the majority says in that you shouldn't do it. If she can't stand being tickled you really shouldn't trick her into it as it's likely to just make her resent you. What you could do however, is talk to her about it. If she's someone you care about and possibly want to pursue for a relationship drop the bomb and tell her about your fetish. Yeah you said you don't want her to know, but if she's the kind of person who would think less of you just because you like a little thing like tickling, do you really want to associate yourself with her in the first place? If she cares about you at all she'll listen to you and won't be weirded out or anything. She may even let you tickle her a little because she likes you so much. True the chances of that are slim but they're better than if you trick her and tickle her against her will.

Simply put, if you're going to do anything talk to her. Otherwise just be friends and leave tickling out of it.

I agree! And, this thread was blown way in that area. Can you see it? Me neither...
