Canadian Icon Gordon Lightfoot Passes Away at age 84

Whenever I’d drive from Phoenix to Wickenberg on the Carefree Highway, I’d always think about him..RIP.
 
He was amazing! Artist. Wordsmith. Gentleman.

I’m glad I made it a point to see him in concert a few years back.

The day after his passing, that cathedral bell rang 30 times. 29 for the Edmund Fitzgerald's crew and and an extra for the man who immortalized their memory in song.
