I've taken a few weeks off from posting, and have used the time for some personal reflection. I've found I'm in dire need of some serious behavior modification.

First and foremost, I feel I owe an apology to BDSM community for the things I've said and the bad light in which I cast those who participate. I was wrong to do so, and I'm genuinely sorry. Though my apology goes to anybody I've offended, I want to specifically offer apologies to Bella Risa and to Redmage, toward whom I was particularly unreasonable and mean-spirited.

Deep down, I always knew you both were good people, but I allowed myself to be caught up in pride, anger, and conceit. I hope you guys will forgive me even though I've given you every reason not to.
 
It takes a real man to admit when he is wrong. Kitty likes you. I would hope whomever you have offended will accept this sincere apology. :cat:
 
As being a member of both the BDSM and Tickling world (though personally I don't treat them as being different) good going with your apology.

Well drew, I'm glad you've decided to do a very big thing here and whether it's successful or not, I applaud you! Someone has to hold out the olive branch once in awhile and I think things will be okay.

You're a jackass. I absolutely despise the way you spoke down to us; treated us like we were less than human because of the way we behave with our significant others. Your opinionated replies to threads that involved BDSM related topics pissed me off, and if you dared to say to my face half of the shit you said on this forum, I would have leveled you on the spot.

You should be sorry.

But I appreciate your apology. I understand that everyone is human and we all make mistakes. Learn from this...open your mind, and you will be a better man.

Considering the history, this couldn't have been an easy thing for drew to you. Please don't make it harder; either accept and move forward or leave it alone. Based on our own history, you should know what the right thing is to do.

In other words, relax and let it go.

That being said thanks drew. I know it must have been INCREDIBLY hard for you to say after your VERY oppinionated remarks. Actually I was afraid to post some of what I posted because of you to be honest. Because I didnt want to be degraded.
 
Actually to amend that last comment it wasnt you in particular that made me hesitate to posting on this subject just you and others like you. Your not the only one that has tried to burn us at the stake. Even tho you never slammed me personally I do accept your appology. Thank you it kinda made my day to see someone try to see things from another's point of view.

I know leave it to a woman to leave mixed signals (no its not that time of the month).

I know this apology isn't directed at me, and even if it were, you obviously wouldn't be required to explain yourself... I'm merely curious. Is it your opinion of BDSM that's different now, or your attitude towards flaming people for it?

In any case, I'm sure your apology will be appreciated by many... so long as you follow it up with real change. 😉

And if this is coming up now because you're either terminally ill, or on Step 9 of your 12-step program, I wish you the best of luck. 🙂

Kis, I hope you aren't going to pick a fight on an apology thread, of all places. The only person who really has any right to be offended by Viper's remarks is Drew, and that's entirely up to him.

For my own part I'm, well, pleasantly surprised is the best way to put it. I'll be interested to see how things develop going forward.

What I said isn't exactly agreeable, but it's not an attack. As I said, everyone makes mistakes and I am very glad to see that he understands and is apologising. As you say, I'd like to see how things go from here.
 
Drew, I was surprised to read your thread and I did wonder where you've been as I hadn't seen you around for a while.

Your a big man mate to say what you have it takes balls to do that, well done to you. I hope you've cleaned the slate now and can move on from this, if it was troubling you.
 
I look forward to seeing your participation on these boards, Drew. Spoke to ya in PM, so I won't reiterate the stuff between you and I here...but I, for one, feel that everyone should have a chance to better themselves and affect change in their lives when they honestly feel the need to do so. I myself have had to do this, and quite recently in fact. So, for you to come out and do this now actually added to several slightly different perspectives I have about the things that are important to me. I hope you can do the same.

As far as Viper's comments....they may seem a bit harsh at first, but if this were an actual room and someone were apologizing to me for some pretty harsh things, I can't say I wouldn't do a quick run of "you really pissed me off, dude" and then accept the apology. Have actually done it, in fact. Of course, it needs to be dropped after that. Also, I do believe that anything regarding these two is between these two and really doesn't need continued comments from anyone else. (Myself included. Just said that piece as a Mod not wanting it to get out of hand...otherwise I never woulda mentioned it.)

This is a good move, Drew. You're a decent guy in person, and the folks of the TMF should get to know that part of you.
 
Wow. I sort of expected this to happen around the time the original lineup of Guns N'Roses reunited. I must say I'm impressed.
 
Viper now who's the ASS! Get over it he said he was sorry! Wow since when is it so hard to accept when someone says they are sorry? At least he did.
 
Let be. This entire thread is the product of history that I think you couldn't know about. It'd be surprising if it wasn't rough in patches, but I think it will smooth itself out.
