It dominated a large part of my life. I wasn't getting enough done and was too distracted.

Seriously, though. I have a close friend who has struggled with a porn addiction for the last few years, and he describes himself as going into a bit of a trance. Losing track of time and all that. Then follows a few hours or days of depression.
So maybe it's useful to recognise when a fetish becomes an addiction. And to avoid Perth at all costs. And don't even get me started about Creiff.

I can't put my finger on why but I don't think it'll happen. Maybe because I've never heard of one going that far. At least not yet. A foot fetishist I've heard of, a shoe fetishist now as well but never someone tickling anyone.
Does that mean we're more restrained? Smarter (in the common sense sorta way)?
Or it just hasn't happened yet. Or maybe it has happened and I just haven't heard about it. 😕

There was a case about some guy who would break into womens houses and tickle their feet while they slept. Can't remember who, where or when, but I think it was years and years ago.
Plus, tickling is a little more subtle, something which you can slip in to normal social activity, so I would guess people have more difficulty picking up on it.
