Oh I remember many late Saturday nights as a kid, alone, watching Creaure Features or Chiller Theater on a black & white television.. the staples were always the great Universal monsters like Dracula, the Wolf Man, the Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster and all the sequels. As well, there was all of Vincent Prices movies the Roger Corman sets, also The Fly and the Dr. Phibes set. Of course there was also the english Hammer films with another great Dracula played by Christopher Lee (who newbies know as Count Duku), Peter Cushing and all their excellent reboots of the classic Unversal characters. Campy by todays standards but, somehow better. CGI does not a movie make, and today's stuff just doesn't seem to have any soul. 🙂
