And they use the term "white slaves" in their descriptions. Can you IMAGINE the uproar that would occur if clips came out of the opposite colors and the women were termed as "black slaves" by the white men demoralizing them?

I don't know, maybe I'm overly sensitive, but I just can't put my finger on it. I just can't put in words what bothers me about it. But it just seems so racist for some reason...?

I don't think the clips, or their descriptions, are racist. They're being marketed to a select audience, those who want to see black men and white women having sex, so I don't see anything wrong with highlighting that fact. But I can see why some people would be offended by the words being used on those pages. Personally, reading about those clips doesn't bother me, though I can't say it turns me on either. That's just my opinion, of course, and I hope no one thinks I'm being racist here, because I'm not that at all.

If what you're saying is that you don't object to the content of the clips, but only the words used to describe them, then I agree with you. I didn't even bother to click on the link-I read some of what you quoted from the so-called site. I like sex, and I like tasteful vids. But I really don't like this. I don't remember who said it on this thread, but they wouldn't be able to sell this slime in this fashion if there wasn't a market for it out there.

Unfortunately, our stereotypes and misperceptions of various races creates the platform for this type of garbage. Images of "Mandingo" come to mind. We all have our stereotypes-no one is immune. Black men are supposed to be "big" and hung low. White women are supposed to be a certain way towards their men. Asian women are depicted as docile waifs who cow-towel to their husbands (although I've met some strong and formidible Asian women out here) and they're supposed to know everything about sex from a-z. The list of stereotypes can go on for days. It doesn't surprise me that it wouldn't hit the porn industry at some point. Actually, it's been around for years.

Macphisto has a point-hell would have been raised 1000 feet if the roles were reversed. This country has a way of making everything a black vs white thing when we are actually a melting pot of many races. We're in 2005-this nonsense should've been over and done with a long time ago. yes i find it extremely over the top and degrading to women. i would like to think that in today's world , racism would be a thing of the past. and to answer your second question, although the idea of appearing in a video is appealing and intriguing and a bit exciting to contemplate, i would never ever partake in anything of a racist nature.

I know this is slightly off-topic, but I just want to mention that Asian women are stereotyped a number of ways. They are often caricatured as "submissive" waifs, but they are also depicted as domineering "dragon" ladies; Lucy Liu's "Ling Woo" character on "Ally McBeal" is a perfect example of this. I wasn't going to jump in here again, but I have to say that I'm not sure where the <i>standard</i> lies--let alone a double standard--when it comes to rare or exotic sexual practices and fetishes. This one happens to fall into the category of "race-play."

Name any practice you want--up to and including ordinary heterosexual sex--and I can probably find you someone who thinks it's just plain wrong. However, <i>in context</i> an intelligent audience will likely think it's OK--for the persons' who are so inclined. There may be a larger or smaller number of people who object depending on what the practice is and who actually knows about it, but that's probably why the most controversial practices are so marginalized?
