I'd thought I'd treat you all with a preview of whats to come. While its not fetish related, I hope it serves as a sample of what you can expect this time around.

Its a picture of Mutsumi Otohime & Tama-chan (the hotsprings turtle) from Love Hina. Enjoy. ^_______^

And why yes, they are. 😀 And don't think I'm some ecchi. The anime and even more so, the manga makes several references of Mutsumi's ample cleavage, as well as other characters. They are hers of course. Most anime girls have big breasts, and if they do have small ones, theres usually going to be a joke about them somewhere. I don't believe its a coincidence that Mutsumi like watermelons, her heated table and the hot springs bath. While as a person I'm sure she likes them, I'm also sure Ken Akamatsu likes puns and sexual humor, and that played a part in this. ^__^

Mutsumi has to be either my favorite or second favorite Love Hina character. I just like her. Shes sweet, kind, and innocent, even though she can be oblivious at times (and thats actually funny and makes her more adorable). As a character, I feel she has a lot of depth that was not shown in the anime or manga. And as an artist, that means I can draw the character in several ways that aren't very limiting.

I also find her to be one the easiest characters to draw too, so I'm bound to have more pictures of her than of any other Love Hina character with the exception of Haruka and Motoko. Naru is the one that takes a bit more time to draw, but only because of her hair. But I imagine I'll have just as many pictures of her as of everyone else. She is the main female lead character afterall.
 
FYI people, if it looks like she's wearing a bra on top of a shirt, thats not what it is. See, because the table only shows from her breasts up, its hard to tell. What shes actually wearing is a dress with a long-sleaved darker shirt underneath. Maybe I should have made her garments all one tone. But if I would have done that, you wouldn't know shes wearing two layers of clothing.
 
Thanks. Actually, speaking of Tama, theres question about whether or not Tama is male or female. In the anime they say Tama is female, and in the manga they make it seem like Tama is a male. But then again, in the manga, they leave it ambiguous. So we may never know.
 
Don't know about the anime, cause I have yet to see it, but she is definitely female in the manga. She is chased by a male turtle in book eight or something, and is refered to as she throughout the series.

One fact I actually DO know.😀
 
Yeah, but there are instances where it could swing either way. To quote Jason Lee (voice actor and husband of Amanda Winn Lee (voice of Rei Ayanami- Evangelion)) " This is japanese animation. You don't get answers, you get questions."

Nice drawing. I wouldn't worry about being called ecchi, after all considering what goes on in Love Hina its understandable. Heh, even in Japan they had a Love HIna gave where you were Keitaro and you tried to get to Tokyo U while um grabbing certain items along the way.

For Tama's sex, while I'm still at odds, Tama seems more female in the manga, but after watching some of the anime with Tama tormenting Motoko when she was dressed up..

Its true. I am thinking of your' needs. In fact, the update isn't going to be as big as originally planned because that means a longer wait for you guys. I'm obviously not being selfish. 😛


@ FF7Tickler- Thank you, and yes, thats what I'm talking about. The Motoko example. It seems odd for Tama to be after her often if hes a she. Although it could be argued that Tama doesn't care. LOL

Also, Keitaro refered to Tama as a male several times, and Naru insists that Tama is female. She even lifts Tama up to 'check'. But even then, in the manga at least, its not made totally clear. As I said, its ambiguous. And its a fact that manga and anime vary slightly as far as accuracy to details are concerned. For example, Motoko's sister is only refered to as "Big Sister" in the manga. Little did we know her name is Tsuruko. And we only learn that until the 25th episode of the tv series (which is on the Christmas Movie disc as a bonus.) Some characters in the anime never made it into the manga, like Amalla Su and Prince Lamba Lu (Kaolla's sister and cousin). So when it comes to the true sex of a turtle, well, its up in the air I think, unless Akamatsu himself has said something about it.

And I could've sworn Motoko's sister was named in the manga....and, Tama could be attracted to Motoko because she may be sensing Motoko's fear of turtles. Eh, who knows? Why don't we write 'ol Ken A. and ask?😀
 
Nah, far from it.

And, I've read the manga several times over. I don't think her first name is actually mentioned. And Tama, well he/she is attracted to Motoko. I don't think he/she would be following Motoko around based on fear. The only other person that Tama is lovey with is Mutsumi, and thats because she's Tama's original owner.

And as far as contacting Akamatsu himself, thats as good as a fart in the wind, and you know it. It would be like talking to a wall. The messege would probably never get to him. 😛

Yeah, I suppose we shall never know the truth about Tama. One of the mysteries of anime you won't ever know the answer to, like if Spike in Cowboy Bebop died.
 
Although it's normally against my principles to intrude on conversations about turtle gender...

...I did want to say, nice drawing! Good to see your work again!
