Well, it's actually kinda hard that Batman Begins be better than Mask of the Phantasm. You know, it's a live-motion movie so it has its limitations. And this is an "origin" movie (you know, now you'll see how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, his training as fighter, as a detective, and all that stuff). But I think it will be a VERY cool movie 😎 😀 .
I just hope they focus of making him do more detective stuff rather than a whole bunch of fighting and only a tiny bit of detective stuff (like the other Batman movies..except for the animated ones of course...the animated Batman in the series and movies seemed to spend more time hunting, interrogating, researching on the big-ass computer...than kicking butt. )
And they better throw in the "bad guy tries to sneak up behind Batman and gets knocked out by a backfist strike to his face , even though Batman seemed to have not even noticed him" scene...it's been in the first movie, the Batman Beyond movie, and the animated series. Gotta have all that tradition Batman stuff in there, right?😀

Well I just saw Gary Oldman in person, all Jim Gordon-ed out, and I gotta say I'm impressed. Spitting image, even just standing at the craft service table under and umbrella. I also caught a glimpse of Bale in the costume, just from behind and just for a minute, but it was still worth getting caught in a huge rainstorm just after they broke down the set to move up a few blocks.
I've gotta find out where else they're filming. This is very cool.
