New pic! Comic Party F/F

Drew this in my spare time since school was cancelled due to Hurricane Ivan.

This one's from Comic Party. A show that makes me feel like a damn loser for watching it yet I can't bring myself to hate it : /.

For those unfamiliar with the show, its about a guy who slowly follows a downward spiral into geekdom and becomes a doujinshi artist, and somehow manages to win the hearts of a dozen girls in the process.

The green haired girl, Eimi, and the brown haired girl, Yuu, are rivals, not unlike Ayeka and Ryoko though perhaps slightly less violent. Eimi is a ultra hyper arrogant bitch and thus, she had it coming.

I think the pic is pretty good, although shadowing continues to give me a headache. The background was the most difficult part, however. Go easy on it. Its my first one .The only part that I can't take credit for is the posters. That was a quick copy and paste. I would have drawn some myself but I wanted to finish the pic some time this year.

Kenjisan, this is a really good picture. And you needn't worry about the background, you took care of it by adding scenery and posters. They distract attention fairly well, don't worry about it and just keep on working on those backgrounds.

As for the actual foreground, meaning where the characters are, the lineart is pretty good, but I'm most impressed by the proper use of colors in this picture. Its always an extra treat when an artist makes sure the colors are the actual colors that make up the characters. Good effort there.

There are some oddities in the proportions of the tickler, but its peanuts and doesn't take away from the picture.

Overall, great job. *thumbs up* ^__^

I dig the background too, though it probably doesn't detract from the cute tickling going on! 😉

lol, don't feel like a loser for watching the show, heck, i'm hooked on watching Totally Spies and a kiddie detective mystery show called Case Closed on Adult Swim. so i'm sure there are others just like you. anyway, lovely pic, real cute.
