I'm in tears that yet another has passed on, and young at that...

We've received word that Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor has passed away.

Details are sketchy, but apparently Traylor passed away at some point Wednesday afternoon or evening.

Cause of death is unknown at this time.

The entire staff of 1Wrestling.com sends condolences to the family and friends of Ray Traylor.

:sadcry:

Wow! These guys have been dropping like flies the last year or so (no disrespect intended). It hasn't been that long since the bossman was involved in the show, either. I pray that he rest in peace and that his family and friends find comfort.

That is sad..but everyone is going unfortunatly. I remember big boss man from when I was a kid and was into WWF. a great loss indeed. RIP

Ray "Big Boss Man" Traylor was certainly a memorable character, even through that horrible gimmick a few years back when he was harrassing The Big Show's father. One of his more enjoyable bits took place in the middle 90s on a WCW Saturday night show when he was having a feud with Bobby "the brain" Heenan. Boss Man finally got sick of Heenan's cracks and handcuffed him to one of the ringside railings. This was hysterical as there were 3 matches with no commercials and the wrestler's were all goofing on The Brain as they walk to and from their matches.
Oh, and who can forget Boss Man kidnapping Al Snows pooch and ...uh...serving him up on a plate.
R.I.P. Big Bubba/Big Boss Man

Paulding.com has learned from a reliable source that former pro wrestler and county commission candidate Ray "Big Boss Man" Traylor has been found dead in his home in Paulding.

Traylor, a graduate of Paulding County High School, gained fame as a Pro Wrestler and contender. He ran for Paulding County Commission Chairman and was defeated in a three man race this past July.

Paulding.com's source said that Traylor's death appeared to be from a massive heart attack. We'll have more on the story as information becomes available.

A towering man, Traylor stood 6'6" and weighed 315 pounds and began his successful pro-wrestling career in 1985.

In more recent years he has coached new wrestling talent, participated in numerous civic and charitable efforts and traveled world-wide.

WOW! i grew up watching Big Bossman, infact i have a comic book with him against The Mountie. Very COOL! I also have his original Action figure. Im sad to see him pass on. He was a great wrestler. I have his nite in the slammer fight with the mountie on vhs somewhere. i think it was a summerslam event. The mountie got taken to the slammer and had a guy come up and start "talking" to him. RIP Big Boss Man.

R.i.p. Ray traylor. 🙁

One of the many wrestlers I watched growing up.

Dear Lord this is horrible news indeed! I remember him in detail, and its most unfortunate to know he's gone. He was one of the better known wrestlers to me, so that makes it even harder to accept.

May he rest in peace.

I too grew up watching "Big Bossman" and remember seeing him make appearances here and there on WWF/WWE. R.I.P. big man...

You have the right to suffer.
You have the right to feel pain.
If you wish to have an attorney present, I'll hurt him too.

To one of the sport's most capable big men, I hope your pain is over.

Thx, Laz, for bringing this to our attention.

Rxx
