Now, the first thing most people are going to ask is, what the hell is "Rumble Roses"? Well, simply put, Rumble Roses is a all female wrestling game, made by Konami. Now, this name won't mean much to any non-gamers here, but those who do game will recognize this company as one of the leading video game retailors, who have produce games such as Dead or Alive. This of course tells you that all of these ladies are going to be simply lovely and well designed.
Also, this game is mainly a fan-service game. Of course, thats to be somewhat expected with an all female cast, but the creaters knew what they were doing 😉 There are no illusions here, and the game offers plenty of fan-service in the way of scantly clad women and unique submission holds. However, when it comes to the wrestling aspects of the game, they are surprisingly good, with moves that aren't overly over the top and look pretty good on screen.
So, wheres the tickling? Well, one would expect tickling to be in the form of a female wrestler who could do a certain submission hold and tickle the other player or something like that. However, that is not the case in this game.
The tickling in this game is done with a unique weapon you can aquire from outside of the ring. In this game you can reach over the corner of the outside fence and grab one of four weapons. The weapon in question is a tickle stick. Basically, this is a meter long stick, with a moving hand on the end. When an oponent gets close, you can use the stick by pressing the square button and pressing up or down on the direction buttions at the same time. The stick will then begin moving over the oponents body, tickling them. Since they have voice actors for every female charactor, you get to listen to them say something before they begin laughing for usually three seconds before collapsing to there knees. Some of the more favoured coments are...
"No No NOOO AHAAHAHAHAHAHA"
"Ah! Hey, that...Ahahahahahaha"
"Hey! That tickles! Wahaahahah"
also, when you complete certain goals, you get to view the ladies, and look over certain things...other then there bodies. One of the things you get to check out is the voice recordings. For most of the ladies (i haven't done this for all of them yet, only a few) you can listen to there comments where there tickled, which usually lasts about 10 seconds or so here.
Anyway, if you own a PS2 (and possibly a X Box) and see this title up for rent at your local video store, rent it. I'm going to buy it when i get the chance, i enjoy it so much (and not just for the tickling). I figure if it gets enough support, they might make a sequal, hopefully with more tickle sticks 😀
