I posted this topic a long time ago and got soem great responses and would love to try again and see what people say. we always ask like on a scale of 1-10 how ticklish are you? but what if scales are different' in peoples mind? might be good to have a general one kind of set so we're all on same page, this is what i got from asking random people what they think each level of the scale is. please contribute your thoughts. btw these are mostly for feet
1- not ticklish
2- just toe wiggling, slight jerk a mild annoyance... Like a stop that...
3-toe wiggling arch foot, curl toes, slight giggling, can hide it very easily, may kick or twitch can go a long time without laughing or have much trouble
4 giggling with mouth closed, can hide it most of the time, pull away, may jerk with giggle
5 open mouth to giggle might be able to hold out a while, pull away with little noise if it becomes too much
6 kind of a hearty laugh, may hold out a few seconds but then gives in mildy violent pull away with giggle still not panicked
7 7 laughing out loud, curling toes in tightly, saying "stop it", still being able to talk and understood. can go a little while of being tickled before it gets too much like 10 seconds. violent pull away with a laugh
8 trying to pull foot away while laughing, tellin them to stop, very ticklish big reaction, pull away with large belly laugh. basically a loud big laugh trying to get away right away but it's not hard to tickle torture this person for a while as long as you don't mind loud noises, they might bury their face in a pillow or something and not be heard but constant ticklishness
9 laughs right away, not necisarily real loud but frantic immediatly and trying to get free using hands to try and pull own foot away while laughing, builds into, as for talking, they might be like "okokokokok" real fast but not much more than that. real big, hystarical, shrieking bucking,
10 go totlaly nuts, shrieking laugh, possibly peeing pants, kick violently cannot understadn words. bucking around like mad, wouldn't want to tickle this person more than a few seconds if you didn't want someone knocking on the door asking if everything is ok. screams at the slightest touch of the foot, cackles if given a footrub, can't handle it at all.
