4. Sept. 11 Inc., Rampant Greed Division: Gas stations nationwide exploit post-Sept. 11 fears of a fuel shortage by charging customers $4 and $5 per gallon. Among the worst offenders: a station in Jackson, Mich., that, according to Newsweek, hikes its price to $6.75 per gallon.

I remember that being discussed on the news. Around here, while there were definite price hikes, the lowest prices were found at stations run by....Middle Eastern imigrants. Of course, they also had to deal with a**holes going in and threatening them just for "looking Arab". Greed and hatred. What a nasty mix.

I think this one is my personal favorite:

The "indirect positive effects of early deaths." I just can't get enough of saying that phrase. 🙂 And I just love it when an evil empire accepts their role, puts on the black hats and gets out there in public with their agenda. It's like they're being run by Dr. Evil.
