I'm a little bit sad since I started to see that the ARTWORK made not only by me, by others (Ex. Dark Convoy) haves a low number of Replies ...

Despite the fact that they have lots of Views 🙄...

I don't complain about other threads, I know that a conversation or PROBLEM gets lots of replies cause' is something IMPORTANT, about "something", and really needs it.

But the ARTWORK is hard work from others 😱 , people at least hope to see what other people thinks about it, hoping to see replies everytime you get in the forum ...don't you people feel it ???

I'm sorry if you people think that this is offensive...but I really feel like that 😀 ...

If youve noticed Nandrox, I havent been posting much art lately either. Im not sure if people just dont want to post replys or what? I try to offer support to artists when ever I can, but your right, artwork dose not get a whole hell of a lot of feedback these days. Iv gotten a few bits of feedback but its usualy the same 2 words "cool pic". Anyway, just want U to know I share your opinion on this.

wow. im really sorry about this. believe me, your artwork is appreciated, or at least it is by me. im sorry i dont say it more often. most of the time i see it, save it to my comp, and go about my merry business, not thinking about how you feel. PLEASE forgive me. you are both AMAZING artists!!! you have no idea how much i envy you and your talent. thank you soooo much for all your hard work and effort! from now on, any time you post something, i will have a reply to it, giving as much feedback as i can (and if i dont its because im recovering from carpel tunnel surgery j/k). please keep amazing us all with your wonderful pictures mes amis!!!

I'm not trying to flash myself like an artist 🙄 , but like my friend said, this takes a lot of you, and you lose time: drawing, scanning (the fricking Alice pic cost me 2 bucks 😱 , yes, I know It was expensive, but for the forum buddies...)and posting...

To enter on the forum later thinking that someone liked your creation, and find none replies or something worst, just find "cool as a reply!!! ... It's like..."not good" 😡 ...

I have replied "Keep It coming, cool pic, etc." many times,I guess I should start making a review of the pic 😀 , cause I know how the "artist" feels when somebody posts a mediocre reply ...

Well...many things have to change...

I guess I'll just keep making more draws for the forum... Actually, I'm working on one right now 😉 ... I have been very interested on Alice from Serial Experiments Lain... I'll give it (her) a shot ...

it wounds me too when my creations are given no response or the simple bank teller style patronizing response

although i don't really mind the patronizing posts as much as the lack of posts thereof

but i'm really desperate to figure out how to set up allegro libraries in visual c++ and get them to work since i don't wanna set up djgpp and i will draw anybody one thing of whatever they want if they can help me waaaaaah

back to art, i'm actually fairly critical of art like the artistic snob i am and in fact i have been known to punch people in the face with a shoryuken (disclaimer: i'm lying again just to look hip) or whip people into submission, but i have to compromise my nature in this flame-free environment so no comments from me! that's aside from the fact that i'm generally sarcastic anyways

i really wish my kof picture had a little more nostalgia to it. sad...so sad. but not as sad as my vc++/allegro situation waaaaaaah

I suppose I can understand your feelings about that smaller number of responses for your drawings. Plus the few word responses that are supposed to encourage you to draw. Typically I don't know whether the amount of responses has to do with people to shy or just to lazy to post. Usually I don't reply because I have a feeling of being inferior to most tickle artists since typically the people who respond know the artist well enough. As for the err.. three word responses I don't know what to say. I guess we could critique it more but well I'm not really a budding artist that can pick out what he likes best. So three letter words work best for me.

Never Feel Inferior

Never feel inferior...belive me, no one is inferior...
I have my weak times...when I post a draw.... I'll never know if you people liked it or what? That's why a complain about reciving no replies from a post, cause you don't know if somebody liked it... or to finding that just one person replied, maybe because he (she) feels shame cause nobody replied, and sais "cool"... even worst, that turns inmediatly that person into a hypocrite (Not trying to offense anybody, but is the truth ), even with the fact that he (she) is innocent or trying to be nice...

For example, I'm drawing a COMIC of Alice from S.E. Lain (I have to admit that I screwed in the 2th part of the whole thing...It was way too early (5:00) I was almost dead and even worst...starving..., I have to draw it again)... , I don't know if somebody is going to like it... I don't know if somebody will laugh looking at it (cause is not funny), It would take a lot of me if nowbody likes it, cause is such a sacrifice to draw this!... Even worst... If no one posts a reply!!!

Iha ve to say that I'm not innocent either of this, I have to admit that I laughed many times about some draws (DON'T WORRY, THE DRAWS THAT I'M TALKING ABOUT ARE NOT FROM THE FORUM BUDDIES 😀 , REPEAT: NOT FROM THE FORUM BUDDIES!!! ) , And belive me... It's not funny when someone laughs of you and either you laughing of others... I have to fix some mistakes that I did in the past... I own apoligizes to MegaDanX too about some stupid sh*t I said about his draws, that I shouldn't...

Well... My point is... Don't feel inferior, everybody haves weak moments, but it happens to the best of us...

As much as I hate to say it... the vast majority of folks don't post replies, and they never will. It simply is the nature of the beast.

The Legion of SuperTicklish Heroes Yahoo Group I created has over 2300 members, yet when I post an update, I'm lucky to get 3 or 4 responses... and many times those responses are "gosh that's great, but you should have done this." Yes... it can get really disheartening.

But what I can say is that I've found that the stuff I post is appreciated... by others who post and create new material. It can be a real shot in the arm when others who are out there creating new stuff - like BZTickler and FTKL and MTJPub and Oblesklk (just to name a few) - let you know that they appreciate the time and effort you're putting in trying to make the community better.

So please keep up the wonderful work you're doing, and know that there are people out there who greatly appreciate the effort you're putting into it!

Look at the new forum buddie (IronSkin), He just posted a new thread, and It haves 82 views and zero replies!!! SEE ???

I mean, the guy is new, he wanted to surprise everyone with the pic (didn't came up with a tickling pic MADE BY MYSELF the 2th time I posted, It was like the fifth 😱 ), but the DAMN geocities service jerks off over the pic , and what the people does is turn back and leave... 82 views, ZERO/0/CERO replies...

Can't somebody have a little bit of hearth and report the broken link?

Put yourself in this buddie's skin, how you would feel to be rejected like that??? I would leave the forum...personaly...

Well, it's never easy when you post something and get little to no response. And it's really a shame too, because a lot of people spend a lot of time and effort to get there work, be it written or drawn, to be of a certain level of skill. I too know what it's like to have something like that happen. I've gotten more then 1600 views on stories of mine, and little more then 4-7 responses. Now, i admit, in numbers of response, that's not very good. But, take away the number of responses for a moment. Look at the number of views. 1600 hundred views. Now, perhaps these are mainly the same people, or perhaps there all different people. The point is, that's 1600 people who have taken the time out of what there doing, to stop and atleast have a look at my work. All in all, i don't think that's too shaby!😉
On a side note, we should consider ourselves lucky. Before, we would post our work on some random site, and we'd be lucky if we a got a few e-mails. Now, we can see atleast what a few people think.
Remember, the most important thing, no matter what anybody eles says, is the ability to take a look at what you acomplished, and be proud of it. It doesn't have to be great, it doesn't have to be a work of art, but so long as you like what you've created, then to hell with everybody eles. Be True to yourself.

You're right, They get a lot of views , and that means that everyday people still check out what you did... But my point is, like I said before, "despite" the fact that we get lots of views... whe don't get replies... I mean, it could be visited many times, but, what If no one like it??? What if this views are from other people and not from the forum??? ... SEE???

But you said it... it's better here, before in a RANDOM place (that observation was brilliant, cosmo_ac), I guess, that with the last reply... I can finally rest in peace... THANK YOU PEOPLE!

Well, i'm glad my last post helped a bit.😀

Now, as far as my stories. Lol, i'm glad there are some who still remember my stories lol. Unfortionatly i haven't posted anything in a while, probably close to half a year. I wanted to finish the "Stocksvill" series, but put it on the back burner after part two. Why, you might ask. Well, i am, for lack of a better word, thickle. Simply put, sometimes something interests me for only a short while, then i lose interest. Now, that's not to say that i don't intend to finish the "socksvill" series, just that it might be a while.
However, i have been writing still. for almost six months i've been working on a story. In all honesty, this will be my greatest achievement to date, and i admit, in many ways, i'll have trouble topping it in the future.
I don't want to give away too much, but i will say that this is going to be a story with tickling in it, as oposed to a tickling story. Now, some may wonder what i mean with that last comment. SImply put, i've tried to write a story that can stand alone, where the main focus is the people involved and the plot, instead of the tickling.

Anyway, enough of being a tease 😛 Hopefully the story will be done in about another month, though it might take longer.

By the way Nandrox, you should really see a docture if your having chest pains. Best not to chance anything. Best of luck 🙂
