2 issues

The first has been an issue forever. The pic of the week shows a preview in the left pane of a new pic but when you click on it, it shows the previous pic.

How the heck do you send a video to another member. I have tried sending 2 different videos to 2 different members through private messaging and it shows it uploading to 100% and then I get a message "oops, we ran into a problem".

I don't know why pic of the week keeps failing to update. I'm just going to disable it until I figure out what the problem is.

Regarding the other, can you give me more details - a screen shot of the error and some info about the file you're trying to send, including file format and file size?

One file is an MP4 and 288MB. Maybe the size is the issue? The other is a webm file and 57.2MB. They both open and play for me with windows media player.

I will try to get a screen shot. I have to read up on it to remember how.

I think I figured it out. I was using the "insert video" option from the more options button (3 vertical dots). I also tried with the "attach files" button at the bottom of the screen but it said the one with 288MB was too large. I don't know why this file is so big. It is only a little over 2 minutes. The other one that is 57MB is almost 30 minutes.

Yes, those are both way too big for us, we have a file cap of 15mb for video attachments. We don't have the resources to host large files. You'll need a separate system for exchanging files with people. Gmail should be able to handle it for you though 🙂
