I'm glad the Brits got it, too. Think of all the exhilarating shots of the Queen's hats! Geriatric lovebirds Charles and Camilla! Exciting exposes on British dietary habits! Ay wot! Wot wot! and so on.

(Seriously, I love the British people, and I was thrilled that London was chosen over Paris and others. The video history alone really will be exciting).

Being from the NY area all my life, I hoped that NYC would get to host the games. Now that it has been decided that London is going to host, it doesn't bother me. I got to thinking about how much more crazier it would be to an already crazy city. It would be next to impossible to get around during the games. London, more power to you!! 🙂

I don't know how much it will end up costing the UK, but I am looking forward to the Olympics. I am hoping that we can produce many good sports stars for the event, and that the UK team win a record number of medals. 🙂
