That's true, but before we can get Davis more involved, we've got to get our O-line problems sorted out.

Personally, I'd like to see Raye work some more classic West Coast wrinkles into the offense like some sweeps or off tackle runs instead of just up-the-gut and a cloud of dust all the time.

If Cashtree ever DOES sign, he's got some major ass kissing to do with Niner fans to try and redeem himself.

Good to see us Niner fans having hope again! Some of problems we had for years have been solved...

Problem #1: Mike Nolan. The man is an idiot and I was dancing like a fool when he got fired. I never liked him and when he disrespected Jerry Rice, that sealed the deal. Oh appy day!

Problem #2: Alex Smith. Just think about it Niner fans. We could have had Aaron Rodgers who WANTED to play in SF. But noooooooooo, Nolan wanted some "gimmick college offense" guy to get drafted instead. Smith sucks. Period. All that crap about changing coordinators is half true. Think about it. Shaun Hill has also gone through several coordinators with the Niners. Why was he more successful? Exactly....

Singletary has us on the right path. He will make the Niners play hard. We have a beast in Patrick Willis and Frank Gore is a workhorse. Now, if we can get a stud receiver.

Speaking of which, Crabtree has to be the biggest idiot ever. I actually hope he is a member of this forum (hey, you NEVER KNOW....) so he can read this:

Look fool, you were drafted #10. You could have been stuck in that cesspool called the Raiders, but you got to go to the Niners. Keep in mind you were #10 in the draft. Suck it up. Remember, no one really knows if you are fully healthy Mr. broken foot. No one has a 40 time on you. You haven't played competitive football since fall 2008. We've really gotta open up the playbook. NOBODY goes 0-11 on 3rd down... and where were the screen plays?!? If running up the gut isn't working, try something else!

That taunting call was BS, but on the flip side, that roughing the passer call was questionable so I suppose it evened out.

This is just MORE proof that Jimmy Raye needs to be fired. There's a reason this guy has never been offered a head coaching job. His offense is unimaginative at best and ineffective at worst.

If we had gone for the first down AND the win on that last 3 and 6, it might have been a very different game. We have to play to win, not play not to lose. Granted, our D had been playing well all game, but why even put them back on the field if you don't have to. Stupid play calling, and as much as I like Mike, he'll defend Jimmy to the death and probably wont change a thing.

For the record, I got no problem with the Vikings.

That is the thing. Running the ball and then relying on the defence would work in most "normal" circumstances, but this wasn't normal. You are putting the ball back in Brett Farves hands, and let's face it, he is one of the best in the game, especially at no huddle drives. The niners should have played to win and passed the ball. One single first down and that would have just about locked the game up.

In my mind the niners won that game and I am proud of them, especailly after losing Gore.

Craptree is headed to San Francisco from Florida today to resume talks with the organization. He really needs to fire his agent. That moron is giving him bad advice and losing him millions of dollars in the process.

So no comments on the Niners War Machine after that 35 point beatdown? So many things went wrong in the game... I just hope it's a wake-up call like when they lost to the Eagles 40-8 at home.

First, why on Earth is Walker returning kick-offs? Shouldn't the speediest guy be handling that assignment? Walker is FAR from that and he isn't going to outrun anyone. I think Jason Hill should be handling that task. Next, how about trying some screen plays to take the heat off Shaun Hill? Does JR even know what a screen play is? That's what made the Niners teams of the 80's and 90's so good. Even when the O-lines weren't stellar, dumping the ball off keeps your QB upright. Force-feeding the running game is all and well if you have Gore, but if you have Coffee, you have to work towards his strengths. Running between the tackles is NOT his strength. This entire game was an EPIC fail in three phases of Football.

That game was absolutely disgraceful. The entire team including our coach was embarrassing. It looked like the entire team just had a meltdown and gave up.

Obviously, we have a long way to go and some changes need to be made.

Shaun Hill...well...this was his chance to show us why he should be our starting QB. He did exactly the opposite. He played like a 3rd sting QB.

Coffee...he played like a Rookie.

The O-line... That was a pathetic performance by all of them. Chilo needs to be benched and Baas needs to step up his game or else it's the bench for him as well. Pashos looked lost and Heitman...well...he was his same old mediocre self.

Our secondary looked like they were playing with skates on and our pass rush was non-existent.

I'm no longer convinced that Shaun can lead us to a championship. Sundays game should have been a shootout. Instead, it was a slaughter. When the Defense faulters, it's up to the offense to pick up the slack and vice versa. The offense did nothing.

WE NEED A MORE TALENTED QB. WE NEED MAJOR CHANGES TO OUR O-LINE. WE NEED A PASS RUSHER. WE NEED A REAL OFFENSE COORDINATOR.

In all fairness to Hill, it doesn't help when you have the defense in your backfield whenever you're about to throw the ball. Plus, it would have been nice if Davis was on the same page on those quick slant plays. He didn't even turn around! I think the problem is diversity in the offense. We pretty much ran the same 4 plays all game long. Hopefully, with Gore back and Crabtree playing in the next game, they'll open up the playbook a bit.

I'm chalking this game up to the Falcons just being a much better team. Even if the Niners didn't make any mistakes, we still would have lost 24-13.
