Just a little note gang this has not been posted before so I thought it would be just a little reminder that this month is the second anniversity of the end of the second world war. Unfortunately, just as many people have died since then than were killed in both world wars, so I ask you, what have we learned? Not much I think.

Perhaps not, but as an American citizen, I can tell you that I'm awfully grateful for freedom preserved. Grateful every day.

We all are grateful for what those men (and to a lesser extent women) did all of those years ago. But I agree with stdave. We haven't learnt much. I wish the world was more peaceful and that diplomacy always triumphed over agressive actions.
