Wow, it's been a while since I checked in here and I didn't realise we had debates going on again.
We have done many many tickling episodes now, some are hard and others are more soft and playful.
Where the edits are made, and the parts of the clip that are exposed more than others is based on the judgement of the editor and the type of clip being made. This is why editing occurs.
On the preview of the fuck you girl, you'll notice that when she says 'fuck you', this has been highlighted and included both times she said it. Like... 'fuck you.....' [edit] 'fuck you'.
As a result, I can kind of understand why some people would say the things they have done about the fuck you clip. The editing of the clip allowed you to see what we intended to be seen, and people formed judgements on the back of that. It was intended to be hard, and it was. Although, just like the 'worlds craziest videos', no cats, dogs or humans were harmed in the making of it and everybody was compensated accordingly. Tho, you guys do not see that as it goes on 'behind the scenes'.
All our episodes are different. Some are hard, while others are fun and playful. If people choose to judge, thats cool too. But if people choose to judge an entire portfolio based on one piece, then all they are really doing is refusing themselves the opportunity of enjoying other, totally different episodes.
To make a solid personal judgement on someone, or something... One act, one piece, or one episode is simply not a broad enough sample. This is why all scientific studies take great care in selecting their samples before forming their conclusions. Otherwise, the conclusions would be speculative.
