Heres exactly what NFL offices will say . We believe this is a one year aberration and see no reason to make any changes to current playoff format .

49ers fans should be embarressed beyond words!!!! 😱

I haven't seen the point spreads yet, but I'm taking the Saints next week no matter how many points they're giving.

I can now say that the Chiefs laying an egg against the Raiders in the finale...AT HOME...with the Ravens coming to town next...in the PLAYOFFS...is nothing compared to 7-9 Seattle winning the NFC West.

Why do the Chiefs do this crap?

One thing is for sure...the last great Chiefs team was coached by Hank Stram, and had a quarterback named Len Dawson. I was too young to remember them winning it all.

And today they honored Chokenheimer. 5-13 in post-season.

They will never be the Pittsburgh Steelers, the greatest of them all.

The Raiders are still shit.

Oh...sorry...the Seachickens winning the NFC West is a complete farce.

Next weeks game will basically be a bye for the Saints. its ridiculous! at least its at Seattle so the spread wont be quite as high. i hate both teams, id actually love to see the Saints lose, but thats not happening.

I think it's funny that the loser really won. The rams will still keep there spot in the draft about 12 or 13th but now Seattle drops to 22th cause they won the divison, The Rams should do much better next year and for many more down the road.

I know. 7-9 teams don't belong in the playoffs. I understand that the NFL playoff system calls for division winners to make the playoffs and get a home game, but come on. All the Seahawks really won the right to was the claim that they're the least horrible team in a putrid division.

I said it before and I'll say it again. If a team made it to the playoffs with and under .500 record I would root for them to pull out the cinderella story and win it all. I am now officially jumping on the Seahawks band wagon because if they ever pulled it off it would be great to see what the reactions are by the fans and the NFL itself.

I still say that if things change because of this season, its a gross overreaction to something that has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! If it happens two or three more times after this season, then yes it has to be changed, but not now when this is the only year that this has ever happened. People said the Arizona Cardinals 2 years ago didn't belong in the playoffs, they came within a Santonio Holmes catch of winning the whole thing so don't tell me they have no shot. Especially now with the Saints still being as bit by the injury bug as they have been this year. Still hoping for a Super Bowl between the Falcons and someone else.

If the Seahawks beat the Bears on Sunday (and that's a big "if"), the Seahawks would HOST the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. How bad do you think the NFL is rooting for the Bears to win that game on Sunday?

it's actually a small if, not a big if.. because the Seahawks beat the Bears earlier this season...

They're rooting for the Bears because a Bears v. Packers game would rate better than a Seahawks v. Packers game.

your psychic powers were off because last week the Seahawks beat down the Saints pretty bad

I don't know about that because I'm sure that alot of people want to see if the Seahawks really deserve to be in the playoffs.. I think the Seahawks are going to the superbowl... or atleast I'm hoping they do if they win tomorrow since I hate the Packers more than I hate the Seahawks... plus if the Seahawks make it it'll show people that anything can happen in the playoffs and they obviously deserved to be there bc they made it all the way

Everybody can stop complaining now about a sub-.500 team in post season play. They were just eliminated by the Bears.

The Seahawks played better then the Falcons who were the number 1 seed. In all the years I have watched the Falcons I can never really remember them playing great given the "National Spotlight"... NEVER!

NFC Championship game January 17th 1999. As a Vikings fan I remember this well! :xlime:
