Ohhh...don't be too impressed by my meager smattering of Italian my friend. It is augmented to a great degree by my battered but trustworthy Italian at a glance phrase book. I keep it around for the day I get a chance to go back. 😀

Well here is a quickie pencil sketch inspired by my figure drawing class. I must confess I am kinda selective in what I like to draw. Gustare! Keep up the good works.😎

Greetings Tomato Dragon originator of the legendary elven Stipplewitz. One very professionally drawn cartoon character I must add...with a adorable-looking face to boot. 🙂 I admire anyone who can ink well...cuz I can't. Well not yet anyway.

Naww. The pencil sketch is just a spoof. I do try to pay attention in class. The instructors try to get a good cross section of humanity in their models so they aren't always the cute females I like to draw. But they are on occasion.😀 Now that I look at it the perspective in that sketch looks kinda wonky. Oh well...haste makes waste.

C. She'll lettuce tickle her sliced pickle.....arrghhh! I've been sucked into the Fellini-like world of Kalamos once again.

Hmmm. Rice common where you live eh? Italy's largest rice producing region is Piedmont. Could the spectral Kalamos be tucked somewhere in Italy's northwest corner? Turin perhaps? This is kinda like playing that old kid's game show Where in the World is Carmen San Diego. 😀

BTW if you any pictures of the lovely Italian actress Valeria Golino getting tickled I will be forever in your debt. 🙂
