Okay so this may sound odd, but as NEST progressed and my number of sessions grew, I found that my left thumb would not stop twitching.
Now here i am, two days later and still the occational twitch now and then.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before or am I just weird?😕

This seems like a unique problem...I'm thinking you're just weird. 😉

Sounds like your nerves are a little over-excited. 😉 It sometimes happens to me while having a lot of stress.

It is possible that you stressed your muscles and that is causing the twitch (either as being bound or over tickling). I would suggest resting it for a bit with ice (make sure to wrap it) for about 15 to 20 minutes at a time to help the muscles chill out. If that doesn't work try massage. These home remedies probably will not work, but it wont' hurt to try either.

If the problem persists and you have insurance I would talk to your doctor. I know it may be hard, but you may want to be a little honest with what happened.

If you feel loss of sensation, tingling, or other abnormalities I would suggesting seeing a doctor to look into it further.

The insurance part in that sentence makes my stomach turn upside down!

I've had this happen when I spend too much time without resting it while doing various crafts. In my case, it's simply been mild tendonitis. Bagel's suggestions are what have helped me in the past. You might also try an anti-inflammatory like advil or motrin.

actually, a twitching left thumb is a sure sign that you're A WITCH!!!

just kidding, must've been some intense sessions to cause that 😉
