A disturbing(?) dream

Last night, I had a dream where my wife was kidnapped, and the kidnappers sent a CD with a video of her being tickled as torture, urging me to pay the ransom.
Even while in the dream, I found this very disturbing and painful, as if she was being raped! I just didn't want to watch the video, I avoided it at all costs, even though the police and everyone did watch it...
How did I know she was being tickled if I refused to watch the video?! Well, it's a dream 🙂 But maybe it was because I kept seeing the very first frame of the video paused, with the VHS style "scratch"-grain splitting the screen in the middle! (again, why??... it's a CD)
In the video frame, my wife was strapped to a table and her armpit was exposed (she wasn't topless or anything).

There was a lot of details in this dream...
Maybe one day I will tell her about it.
But, the fact is that I found this dream VERY disturbing! I'm not sure why... I guess I find tickling something so intimate/sexual that it felt so violating...

Ever had such a negative feelings about a tickling-related dream?

Wow, that's interesting. Yeah, dreams don't respect boundaries that much, do they? I can't think of a dream with such a negative angle on tickling, though I might have repressed it! I've had some that involve somewhat embarrassing or inconvenient scenarios from time to time, but can't think of one like that right off hand.

If you love your wife, it's hard to see anything being done to them without their consent.

Since I have no significants, I can't surely say I have first-hand knowledge of this, but I know my dad was such a gentle innocent soul who would in fact decide to kill another man if he had hurt my mom or anyone else in the family.

I have had different dreams I've called "ragemares", not a normal dream, a nightmare with injustice and harm so foul that I become enraged, even when I wake up I have already chosen violence. It's not difficult to understand that others have similar dreams. Here's to going back to the dream, and taking your just revenge.
