Well since I'm recommending things, I'd thought I'd toss this one out too.

If you're a David Hewitt or even just an SG-1 and/or Atlantis fan, it's worth checking this out.

It's Hewitt's independent film. Not SciFi, so be warned. It's more in tune with British comedy. It's silly really, but enjoyable. And it features some scifi actors you should recognize.

I completely missed this one. Did it ever get a theatrical release? Or is it just available for download and on DVD?

I never really did get into Stargate, so I'm not really familiar with Mr. Hewlett. I watched the first season of SG-1 and started the second season, but it never really clicked for me, so I didn't bother continuing, nor starting in on Atlantis. I've had a couple friends recommend that I should continue watching, because it gets better.

The preview on the site was intriguing. I do quite like the sense of humor in British comedy. Maybe I'll check it out...

It didn't make general release but was shown in some indy houses. It's available on dvd and also downloadable on Unbox. I recommend the dvd because the special features are a hoot.
