This is no jest.
I am currently working on a fetish-themed board game.
These are working pictures from the test version.



<b>Description</b>

The Dungeons of Kalamos is a card-based role-playing game.
The ultimate objective is having fun and maybe turn the heat up a bit.

It is not quite unlike a fetish-themed strip poker kind of game.

<b>Synopsis</b>

Game flow is ruled by <b>Action Cards</b>.
Players wield three different, reciprocally dominating elements,
in a traditional Fire > Leaf > Water triangle of forces.



<b>Game Modes</b>

The Dungeons of Kalamos can be played as a straight, one on one, duel-kind card-game.
It really shines in Narration mode, with a Dungeon Master,
overseeing the game as the Demiurge.
The Demiurge runs the game and doles Punishments out in the form of <b>Ordeals</b>.

Players can either win the game by defeating Dungeon Guards,
or by collecting pages from the <b>Grimoire of Lust</b>.
The <b>Grimoire of Lust</b> is comprised of scenes of tortures.
When defeated in combat, players have to carry out the scenes from the Grimoire.
If successful, they collect the card.

Who collects more, wins.
And overthrows the Demiurge.

In my original plans, the game was aimed at BDSM folks with a nerd/gaming background.
More common than you would expect.
I hear they struggle to get vanilla folks involved in "games".

The title is the same as my latest art collection.
It all started as a "what-if" mockup picture with bits of my own art.
Then people over my facebook account started asking me: "where do I get this?"
"Is this MTJPUB guy selling them?"

So I wrote actual rules, got the cards printed - real cheap - and I'm running test games with pals and gals.
Reception has been warm.
Maybe the title sounds gentler in Italian: "le Segrete di Kalamos".
I wanted something "oh... scary" that piqued the curiosity of fantasy-fans without actually scaring non-fans away.
