As a 'lee, I'd have to say that this sounds almost ideal. Add "...and digging in with my nails" to the picture and you'd change "almost" to "absolutely." I enjoy being tickled mercilessly, and I enjoy the verbal teasing, but I'd prefer to have the person doing the teasing be involved on a more physical level as well.

Control is a definite part of it, for me. Dominance is huge. I enjoy scenarios of tickling-torture and interrogation, I enjoy bondage to ensure that my 'lee does not move around too much, etc. Another big thing is the reaction. I need that to really enjoy what is happening myself. It isn't necessarily the intensity of the reaction; if I'm tickling someone who doesn't like to be tickled too mercilessly, who likes to be sitting there with me, unbound, and giggling, then that's the reaction I go for. The enjoyment of the 'lee is very important, moreso than the dominating aspect of it, at least for me. It's definitely the #1 thing... but that's not what I like about tickling in and of itself. That's how I am with any sort of sexual or sensual scenario. My partner's pleasure is my main concern.

I think the biggest thing, honestly, is that I'm "wired" for tickling. I wish I could put to words what exactly does it for me, in a way that is personally satisfying. LOL, I'm having a lot of difficulty doing that, I've rewritten this post several times already.

I'm a response junkie; I get joy in finding every ticklish spot. I love finding those spots he didn't know existed, then I love exploiting them to both our delights! I love making men laugh, that is music to my ears. I love to have fun by letting him know that I will bring him to a laughing, squealing ball of ticklish mess and will continue until time's up or he pleads out, whichever comes first.

Safewords are holy and absolute. Even, if it's nothing more than the universal "red!" or a variant thereupon. It's very easy to say in advance, "don't stop, no matter what I say," but IMHO the 'Ler has some responsibility for the 'lee, and should look to their well-being even if they are not being so logical about it. If for no other reason than medical concerns, I always use safewords, and there are other things I stop for as well (an appearance of discomfort, silent laughter and breathlessness, etc.).

(That isn't meant to be accusatory; I say only that I use safewords, not that anyone else doesn't! 🙂 )

Safewords have been another discussion and debate. If the LER knows what he or she is doing and can be trusted to know how to read a lee, no real need for a safeword although can be set in place in case of an emergency however there are times when a lee will say anything to stop the tickling even if he or she really dosen't mean it or NEED it to stop.
Again that debate has been........debated to death! lol.
Safety is key indeed but the pshchological aspect is just as key. A good LER will know how to read the lee and know when to break.........it is THEN that the Lee can say he or she is done and safeword out. One should not cry wolf if you know what I mean unless there is indeed a wolf.

I know there are those who enjoy or are curious about that style of tickling, but the torturous, merciless style of tickling is not something I'm into. That's a fantasy he/she'd have to explore elsewhere.

This is a very reasonable way to look at it in my opinion. Me, not having much experience for example, I could easily see myself getting intrigued by the idea of being at my 'ler's mercy completely and telling them not to stop, no matter how much I beg them. But since I don't know, what it would be like in reality and how I would really react to it, I would very much appreciate a responsible 'ler who is logical where I am not 🙂

As far as tickling goes, I love the sound of tickling induced laughter. So sweet! Also just playing with soft ticklish feet. And tickle spots everywhere. Not to mention knowing what those sensations coursing through a lee's body feels like. The instant irresistable intensity of it. The eyes looking outward and inward at the same time. Yum!
