A great way to gauge ticklishness in innocent conversation (short/cute story)

Was having dinner with a young lady and raised the topic of massages. I said I loved getting them, and asked her if she ever does. She said she hasn't. We talked a bit about how they work, and why they're so nice.

"You're not too ticklish, though, are you?" I asked.
"I'm pretty ticklish," she said immediately.
"Ohhh," I said.
"I'm very ticklish," she said again, for emphasis.
"Oh well, you can just have them go deep then," I said.

I probably could have engaged the topic further it but I didn't. Next time though.

How old was this lady approximately ? What did she look like ? I would have continued and said I read once that ticklishness is inherited, then she probably would've told you all the females in her family that are ticklish or she would've changed the topic which I get sometimes when they dont want to talk about it. LOL.

she doesn't have sisters. what i should have said instead was "it must suck to be so ticklish" and see what that elicits ...
