a idea for two Sticky Threads for the anime board

I think we need Venray or one of the other Mods here to have a Sticky Thread that tells Great anime websites to visit for Discounts on Dvds Anime Rental services online for anime etc... (where users can post and contribute and add to the sticky thread)

And also we need another Sticky Thread that tells the different sayings in anime as reguards to words used in anime an thier meanings for thoses words. For rookies and long time anime watchers.


What do you guys think? a good idea or not?


And if it is we can get one of the members on the anime board to approve the idea to one of the Mods on the TMF.

I suppose that might be a good idea. The only thing I can think of against it is that it's not tickling related, but oh well. If a sticky was made I'd be happy to help by contributing information, or whatever. 😛

damned if u want to talk about anime so badly go talk on a other forum, nuff forums for anime, this is the TICKLING forum, and the anime media for here is like ANIME PICS, AVI's, or home made anime pics, not for discussing new anime's >_>

Its a good idea, but I question the ammount of people here that would find that information necessary or useful. As you can see, people like Battousai and myself are pretty knowledgeable people, and if others have questions they could just ask us and we could make threads for these things as opposed to the mods having to make a sticky(s).

I like the idea, and it would work even better on a regular anime site, but there would be people who would complain that if it's not tickling related then whats the point, like the last user pointed out.

On the other hand however, this site has two forums on it that are not tickling related at all, and these two forums happen to be the largest and most posted in. So I don't see the harm in this forum here being diversifiable and catering to the user's general anime needs as well. Its not like anyone is being denied their tickling material, and for anyone that would benefit from this knowledge, that would be good.

We might as well be promoting the genre and characters themselves as much as wanting to see them tickled. After all, one would have to have a sound knowledge on an anime before they decided they wanted to see pictures for it/from it.

As an artist, it helps make my job easier when requesters know what they want, and know enough about a series to be able to give me discriptions for characters and general information about the series, links, etc, in the cases of series I haven't heard of or seen yet.

Its a good idea, but it would need to be ironed out a bit.

Its to Myriad's benefit that there would be such additional activity, even if it wasn't tickling related. Given time and perhaps a general non-tickling forum of it's own, that would mean more members and more lurkers coming out and joining us.

I think the atmosphere would be even better than it is now, and more people would post here. And of course, the two forums would be seperated, so there would be no reason for anyone to complain.

Count me in, you've got my support. Maybe I'll propose this later. With your guys' support maybe this will be possible afterall.

And what are you afraid of? That it will change the forum and it won't be about tickling anymore? If thats the attitude you're going to have with it, then by that mentality, we shouldn't have a general forum, a politics and religion forum, and a humor forum either.

These other forums have boosted the site and are quite possibly the sole source of how people get to know eachother at all. To differentiate and say a non-tickling anime forum for otakus isn't a good idea is a contradiction of what is already established here.

I honestly don't know why a few people here and there are displeased with the idea of there being something other than tickling being on this site. Something other than that has been here the entire time, the above mention forums (with an exception), and no one complained about that.

Its part of what makes a community a community. I honestly don't think any webforum which has only one topic and one forum for it is going to bring the people there closer together.

As for the topic of "where to buy anime", naturally that would fit in as a thread in a presumed anime forum and it wouldn't get in the way of this forum.

Anime Media. Means ANYTHING about Anime not just Anime Tickling related. Thats the way i see it anyways. Some others are two displeased to have anything else on a forum but Tickling and only Tickling. If some of you people on this forum aren't happy in this community because it has other forums that are not Tickling related. Then why do you even come and post on here at all? why don't you unhappy people start up your own ''Tickling only community forum'' on the internet if some of you are so unhappy about things and the way things are run on the TMF?



And about the idea of a General Anime forum section being added on here. Count me in. If enough members on here (True Anime Fans only) that is our willing to also have a general anime forum added. Then Celtic or someone could talk to Myriad's about the idea.
