Ok, so pretty much the main city im based out of is Chicago
It was raised on sports radio here and was a good point. For some reason people in Chicago are hung up and obsessed on players who are gone from their teams.
Sox fans are stupidly obsessed over Aaron Rowand and his grindy play, people STILL think Orton is a better qb than Cutler, people making a big stink over tonight about "Nikolai Khabibulin returns to chicago!" Mark Derosa is an average to above average player yet Cub fans foam at the mouth saying they need him back and now they have the whole Benson argument even tho that sack of crap just didn't want to play here.
Is this just here or do other cities have this obsession with fans and players who are gone. I mean who cares? They are on a different team. Players come and go all the time
