When I went to college not wearing socks was just kind of in, and it was before ankle socks or fottie socks were in. I guess I just got used to it and so even now I very rarely wear socks with my Nike Shox and I guess I do like the way they feel as oppossed to wearing them with my no show socks, but sometimes in the summer if Im going to be in them all day I will wear my no shows just depends.

That's my biggest complaint about ankle socks. Not only does it ruin the "look" but it also takes away from the feel.

Nope! Major myth that NEEEEDS to be busted! I've worn sneakers sockless for years with no problems at all.


Think about it logicaly...girls wear flats and pumps without socks as a matter of design. Both type of shoe encase the foot in a material as opposed to a sandal that doesn't encase the foot. Girls wear these all day long without even a thought to being "horrible for your feet". Sneakers aren't any different.

Heck, I dated a girl once who wore knee-high leather boots without socks all the time! She also knew it turned me on so she'd purposly wear them around the house with the side zipper unzipped so you could see her leg dissapearing into the boot around the ankle...but that's another story. (I wonder if she thought of me on that last scene in "Pirates 3" between Kiera Knightly and Orlando Bloom? I know it reminded me of her)

I actually think it's just the opposite, Vip. As long as its not for super-extended periods of time, i believe it is better for softness, smoothness, etc. As long as the individual routinely cares for them to keep them from smelling bad, i am of the opinion that sockless is better than with socks.

I completely understand the sentiment, and am completely distracted when i notice someone doing this. My wife, at my urgence, will from time to time do it, and I can't get my eyes off her ankles and shoes. I wanna rip 'em off when she does! IT is so inviting! She however, i think, doesn't particularly care for the feeling, so I have tried it, just to be aware of what "that feels like," and I don't mind it. The soft, smooth rubbery feeling is conducive to tickling and rubbing and licking, biting, etc. The aroma is not overpowering, and when my wife does it, it is subtle enough to intoxicating. I just want to eat and tickle those pretties till dawn.

The physical chemestry of a woman is different than a man. Men's body odor is, therefor, different and more of a musk with a base and women tend to have a more alkline odor, which in some cases can not only be less offensive, but sometimes even arousing. Your BF is, most likely telling you the truth.

Ive seen college girls wearing converse hi tops with no sox and always found that to be a nice look. sneakers sox or no sox are much more practical than high heels. Ive seen guys here who insist on woman in high heels all the time and its simply not practical or healthy for someones foot.

That's what I mean, right there. I love girls who like how sneakers feel worn without socks, and Keds are my fav. Do you ever wear them unlaced? It used to be real popular back in the day and I had an old GF who wore them like that all th time. She'd always be sliding her heels in and out of them cuz she knew it drove me crazy.
