How did you take it? Was it totally weird to you? Did you get into it right away? What was going on in your heads?

As to what it was like . . . I find an interest in my feet, rather than in me, a bit icky. Of course, I'd feel that way about any part of my body; it's just overwhelmingly feet, here.

Okie doke, as for my answer-
I first realized that people (men) had an interest in my feet when I started coming here, to the (one and only) TMF. I had always liked the way my feet looked but never payed much attention to them other than keeping them clean and scrubbed. I figured "Well, I'm on a tickling site- feet are ticklish!" (I'm a genius!) so I took a picture of me and of my feet and that was that.
I like that people like my feet and me (hopefully). I'm much more than a pair of fair footsies and I believe that most people around here know that- so in that case, I welcome foot fetishists just as much as I do ticklers and 'lees. Not that it's my site to welcome anyone. Hehe! 😉

I have to admit the same! I didn't realise so many were into feet until I came here.

My b/fs who have tickled me but all over and didn't really concentrate on my feet (although they are extremely ticklish!) so I just thought most people in here would be into tickling in general....... but obviously feet come first in a lot of cases.

For me, the first time was during an obscene phone call when I was in high school. This young guy would call me on a regular basis and ask me if I was barefoot--the longer I would talk to him, the more he would ask about my feet until he would suddenly hang up on me. (I understand now why. He was done. 🙄 ) I was fascinated that he never said anything patently "dirty" during these calls, he focused only on my lower extremities. I don't know if that planted any seeds, but then during a heavily rebellious period later on in life, I was employed at an adult phone line and would always wind up having the more..."unusual" calls routed to me by the other operators--maybe due to my tolerance levels, I don't know--but as a result, anything involving feet and the occasional underground tickler was mine to deal with, being considered more along the "deviant" subjects. I learned a great deal more about "foot men" during that time.

However, for truly unknown reasons, my mother laid some heavy phobias on me about my feet as I was growing up. She has always made fun of them, told me they were "the size of gun boats", I should "leave the shoes at the store and wear the boxes home" (8.5's aren't all that huge!), and always commenting on how ugly they were. I've since been convinced by others--Redscript, my husband and other friends-- that she was totally incorrect and simply being spiteful for some reason.

Still, because of that, I never had the chance of pursuing the joy of thinking guys were looking at my feet because they were excited or attracted to them; I always got highly self-conscious if a guy looked down there while I was in sandals or barefoot, believing he was disgusted (or morbidly fascinated a la' "freak show" mentality) by what he was seeing rather than appreciative.

And as a closing note: To this day, when Mother sees me barefoot, she almost always says, "Wow, those are some ugly feet!" I realize in her mind she's just engaging in some "affectionate teasing" , but I swear, sometimes I would like to just kick her with both of them. LOL

The first time i posted a picture on here and got compliments on them... All my life I've been kinda self conscious of them, just like Aura, always being told they were too big...thinking if someone was looking at them, they were gawking at a woman with a size 10 foot...so I always tried to make them prettier, always had my nails painted, an anklet or something to make them look nicer...but thanks to you guys, i'm getting over that self consciousness of them a little at a time...and it does make me want to show them off, or if I noticed someone looking at them now, knowing what I know now.... i might dangle my shoe or wiggle my toes, something like that instead of trying to hide them... Thanks guys....you know how to bring a girl out of her shell!!!

I've had people saying nice things about my feet before, but haven't really been aware of the fetish before I joined the TMF either.
How did I take it? Well, it's flattering to have guys complimenting your feet of course. I'm sure I'm not the only one who likes it, why else would we girls post all these pics 😉
Weird? Basically NOT AT ALL - we all have more or less weird things we like 😉

To me personally it's always interesting to see what other people like and with some - not with everyone, mind you 😀 - I love to discuss in detail to learn and understand more about it.
Having said that - we all know, how - depending on the person and their approach - it CAN get weird sometimes though 😉

To be honest, i discovered the attention to my feet (and well tickling in general) with my highscool sweetheart. What really freaked me out was how much i liked it then. I only learn years later that he was as into it as i was. Oh if we only knew, it could have been even more dangerous than it already was (as i'm sure we seriously freaked out a few people at my afterprom party with a good bout of fierce tickling). Funny how things turn out, he introduced me to the forum and the idea of tickling as a fetish years later and i've been intrigued ever since.
