Scientists conducted a tickling study at Queens College in 1993. They published a journal article entitled, "Pavlovian Conditioning of the tickle response of human subjects."
The scientists would say a neutral word and then tickle the subjects feet.
After several trials, they found that all they had to do was say that word and the subject would laugh or smile.
