I just read a breaking article which stated that MLB is looking to suspend A-Rod, and several other players involved in the investigation in regard to use of PED's, for 100 games each.
If they did use PED's, and are found guilty, I personally think they should all be banned from baseball for life.
It almost seems hypocritical.. They can ban the 1919 "Black Sox" for throwing the World Series for money, and can ban Pete Rose for life for betting on baseball games, but the actions of cheating with PED;s only merits 100 game suspensions? Why does cheating in one way merit bans for life, and this form of cheating only merits a two thirds of one full baseball season ban?
In my view, any player found guilty of using PED's, should be both banned from baseball for life, and made permanently ineligible for the Hall of Fame.
Hopefully, if any of these players are banned for 100 games for PED, they will either be deemed ineligible to make the Hall of Fame when their time to be eligible comes, or even if they would be eligible, they will never be elected.
