A silly question about restraints

O.K. this is my first thread to ever start so be kind... I have a question for all of you about restraints. After spending a couple of hours bucking and flailing against the restraints I find that I am super stiff with sore muscles the next day. I mentioned this to my hubby and with his evil grin he said, "It's a good workout for you, kinda like isometrics, it'll build muscles". I wonder if it's actually damaging soft tissues and muscles, (not that I'm going to stop if I find this to be true). Anyone else feel this way or know of some facts on the subject? Would I fare better if I stretched-out my muscles a bit first?

Don't know any hard medical facts but I do know that if I strain or pull too much I can end up being very sore the next day. And sometimes for a week or more. Occasionally I will actually pull something and be in pain for a long time. It was sometime in february before my shoulder stopped hurting from New Years.
But unless you have a joint or muscle that is weak and prone to injury I dont think it's much to worry about. I mean, you can always pull something the wrong way and hurt yourself just in a freak accident but normal pulling and straining probably won't injure you.

And I think doing a bit of stretching beforehand certainly couldn't hurt. it'd get the blood flowing and the muscles loose and ready. A good idea actually. 🙂

Well, perhaps if he simply had you restrained to a point were you could not move at all.......................

doctors now say strecthcing does not prevent injury but you would be more comfortable if you kept your muscles loose o na regular basis so when your master/husband/boss/tickle master attacks, you are not as sore

If restratints are a must, I would suggest having elastic retraints, so that the muscles have an allowance to contract before being prevented from going any further. Having stiff restraints that suddenly stop movement is like dropping a weight to which a string is attached. The string is analogous to the muscle affected.

Sorry for a different opinion but I strongly advice against retraints if it causes such soreness the next day, especially if the sessions are done frequently. Even if it does build muscles, I'm sure this ain't a very healthy way.

Perhaps you can try not having restraints, I think it's the most fun that way...arms and legs flying around.

Maybe it's just me, but I would not tolerate my lee sustaining any undesirable effects from tickle sessions.

Do take care ya? Tickling should never hurt anyone, directly or indirectly.

You can really tire your shoulder joints out quick in a "spread eagle" position if you are a beginner at bondage. You might want to try other positions like having your arms tied more parallel to your body or put on a belt and have your arms tied to your sides.Being tied to a chair works good for tickle torture in a comfortable position if the chair is set up on blocks so the tickler can torment the soles.A small pointed feather is effective between the toes from the top of the foot in this position too.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I like to feel like I can't move an inch, it makes everything tickle so much more. But I'm not into pain either. My husband felt really bad the next day when he saw how sore I was so unless I ask for it, he probably won't be pushing me as far again....
Next time I'll stretch-out before I'm stretched-out. 🙂
