A Strange Experience and Picture

So yesterday I went to sign my new lease at the new apartment I am moving into in July. The apartment owner said for me to meet them at the apartment to do all the paperwork which was fine. My appointment with him was at 1:30. I arrived there at 1:15ish, cause I always like to be early. The apartment I am going to rent is actually in a renovated, older house. The house is about 120 years old and in the older part of my town. It's across the street from a very old cemetary too. None of this bothered me though. Anyway, you walk into the front door of the house and there is a small foyer, probably 10x12. My apartment is right off the foyer so I was just standing inside, texting on my phone while waiting for this guy to show up. The foyer was older with the original spiral wooden steps up to the second floor and a really huge, old radiator. The radiator had this metal top on it with a few plants placed on that. However at the end of the radiator near to where I was standing the metal top thingy was dusty with no plants or anything. As I looked at it I noticed....what is in this picture...

Okay....so this picture is freaky yes? It's obviously footprints, HUMAN footprints. They look to me to be about the size of a child's footprint too.

I looked above the radiator and the ceiling was at least ten feet high because the top of the spiral staircase was right above the radiator. The ceiling was out of reach even for someone trying to reach something. However their was no light fixture or ANYTIHNG hovering over the radiator that would need to be cleaned or fixed or changed or something.

Plus the footprint makes it seem like the person was standing right on the ledge just on the balls of their feet and their toes. It was the strangest thing...and I had to get a picture of it.

I showed it to my friend at dinner tonight and she laughed and said it was a ghost. I do believe in that kind of stuff, but I mean...I just don't know WHAT to think of it.

What are your opinions. Cause I am a little freaked out about it

You know I didn't say anything. Once he arrived and we went into the apartment, I was too excited about signing my lease and getting the key I just forget to mention it!

The average radiator being about hip height, it means some adult stood a child on the surface, maybe to straighten its hair, clean its face, brush twigs or suchlike from its clothes or any of the numerous similar indignities you or I or anyone suffered at that age. Or maybe the kid climbed up on its own for no other reason than because climbing things is fun at that age. Sorry to pee in your cornflakes...

I thought the same thing...but first of all why would the child be barefoot? And the metal thing was very shaky and unstable...so I doubt the parent would leave a child on it anyway. Plus only 3 other young adults live there, all single. And a young man in his mid-thirties lives there with his two dogs. No children at all O.O

No need to leave the kid there. How long does it take for two footprints to be made?

Um...yeah, that's my bad. She and I couldn't wait anymore and the car was the right heigth and one thing led to another........


About your ghost. Hold an EVP session and see if it gets pissed and rotates your bed with you in it. If your bed doesn't rotate in the first two days of you moving in......re-read Libertine's posts and sleep in comfort.

QFT. I'm sure there is a simple explanation - it could be something like Libertine said, a kid climbing up on the radiator.

I agree... I didn't get the impression they were kid's size at all. But other things than feet can leave similar designs. Don't ask me what... just thinking out loud.
