A tickling story...etc

I just want to share a tickling story that happened to me when I was in college. It was my freshman year and my two girlfriends Lila and Cami, this other person (I don't remember who that was), our friend Craig and I were all the this person's car who's name I don't remember. We were sitting in the car all ready to go out to dinner and Craig, Cami and I sat in the backseat and Lila was in the front seat & the person's name I can't remember was driving. Well Craig was a playful type of guy and it seemed like just for fun he began tickling Lila and then he was tickling Cami.

This went on for little while and he wasn't tickling me and my friend Lila noticed that he wasn't tickling me and even said to him something like why don't you tickle Jen? However, he didn't listen to her and I was getting annoyed and feeling left out . Eventually he stopped tickling them and we had a good night. I let it go but isn't it strange that he tickled them but not me even with my friend's suggestion? I think so. I am just guessing here but I think the reason is because Lila and Cami were more outgoing and friendly than I was. I mean I was friendly too but they weren't as reserved as I was. Maybe that was it. I'd like to know what other people think.

The Reason?

Jen, there have been situations where I have kept my hands to myself because I was strongly attracted to the girl. Playfully touching and tickling the others could be just that--playful. But to touch the one I really liked could lead to things!

I gotcha I see what you're saying. However, just so you know, I don't think he was attracted to me later on because he didn't ask me out. However, later on in our relationship, we were watching a movie at his dormitory and he DID tickle me there for a little bit until I surrendered. The reason I wrote the story is because I think it was a little rude of him to be tickling my two other girlfriends right in front of me without tickling me as well.

Sure, you may have felt left out, and that sucks, but I fail to see how this guy was obligated to horseplay with everyone that night. Perhaps he was attracted to the two he tickled more than anyone else with the group then, and that was his way of flirting with them. Does that make him a jerk? I think not. Demonizing him for not paying equal attention to everyone just isn't fair.

But then, I wasn't there, either. Maybe he was a dick. I dunno.

i think jen has a point like i know if i was in that situation with girl tickling my guy friend and not me i would feel so left out and annoyed big time then feel a bit awkward and jealous that the y got tickled and not me, but it could be the fact that im n ot into the whole outgoing ness and talkative so it would be l ike the person forgot i was even there, but dont worry tickle jen this nest gathering we are going to have the biggest tickle fight on the planet just please dont go for my feet lol, and 1 rule no socks allowed muwahhahahaha

I understand what you're saying & I guess rude isn't the correct word. It's just that I think it was rather reasonable for me to have felt left out and jealous. I mean even when my friend Lila suggested for him to tickle me as well & he didn't do it, I was somewhat surprised. Just to emphasize, I know you find it hard to believe that he only tickled my two other friends and not me but it's very true. So obviously he was selective in who he was having horseplay with that night.

I mean how would you feel if you were hanging out with a friend of yours that was a girl and she was tickling two of your other guy friends but not you. I am sure you'd feel left out & jealous.

I just want to say that I wasn't very mad about what happened, I mean it wasn't that awful. However, tickling are one of those signs of affection and when he was tickling my two other girlfriends and not me, it made me feel at the time that I was not real desirable. I mean I know that I am but it's just very nice for someone else especially a guy, even if just a friend to acknowledge that.

I can understand how you must have felt,Jen,and I`m sorry things worked out like they did.Especially after your friend suggested tickling you,and he declined.I`m sure that hurt! 🙁

Don`t dwell on this too much! I`d be willing to bet that there are plenty of people here who would only be too happy to cheer you up,Jen! Myself included!!!

I understand kilit and I am not dwelling on it really, it's just something I remembered that happened and I just wanted to know what other people thought. I'll just chalk it up to the fact that he was a jerk at the time and not worry about.

I am sure there would be people here who would be happy to cheer me up and it's good to know you're among them kilit! I'll be okay I just need a tickle lol.
