Abdul-Jabbar has leukemia

If he gets proper treatment, he will live out his life (God willing). My mother was diagnosed with leukemia back in 1993 and she is in remission today.
 
I wish Abdul Jabbar the very best; have lost two close friends to leukemia within the past year...age 41 and 24....far too young.
