Yes, funny you should ask! Bon Scott was great. AC/DC, with Bon Scott, had just hit the peak of their popularity when he died. I never cared much for Brian Johnson's singing style, but they say that Bon Scott actually picked his replacement. Supposedly, Bon heard Johnson singing in a nightclub and was impressed.
There were actually at least five import albums, some of which had songs not released in the U.S., and a couple haven't been released to this day. The ones that come to mind are "Love Song" and "School Daze." Jailbreak was a collection of the songs previously unreleased in the U.S. songs.
I still have the cassettes of the five imports. The one with the dog peeing on the transformer was the orginal "High Voltage" release. The "Dirty Deeds..." album had actually been around for awhile before it was released in the U.S. I was the only kid on the block who had it before it was available to everyone else.
The CDs of their import releases are available, and I see them around from time to time. Bon sang in a band called "The Valentines" before AC/DC. Too bad he had to check out so young. 🙁
