Actor Bill Paxton Passes Away.

Should be the front page of

www.tmz.com.

It has just been reported that actor Bill Paxton passed away yesterday at age 61 following surgery complications.

I'm extremely saddened about Mr Paxton's passing.

He was a wonderful actor.

I loved watching him in Big Love, and Apollo 13.

Rest In Peace, Mr Paxton.

That's sad. Even though he played a lot of douchey characters, from everything I've read, he was actually a very sweet guy in real life.

I feel awful. He was one of America's friendliest faces. A great actor of many talents.

As the geeky movie buff that I am, I will remember him most fondly for his roles on sci-fi monster films Aliens and Predator II. In both movies, he was playing sort of an underdog; the kind of character that was funny but apparently unpleasant and unreliable for most of the film... until he showed an immense courage and sense of sacrifice in a climatic face off with the creature. He shall always remain Private "fuckin'-A!" Hudson in Aliens for me. One advice: try to watch again the scene on board the landing ship when he brags about the arsenal the colonial Marines intend to deploy: it's a riot! :laughhard:

Other than that, I will also remember him for True Lies, in which he was funny as hell opposite Schwarzenegger (in a remake of an okay French movie btw) and a good movie no one has seen called A Simple Plan (2000), by Sam Raimi.

Rest in peace, Private Hudson! Your sacrifice will be forever remembered!

Oh, no!! Very sad news. Aliens is by far my favorite role of his but "A Simple Plan" is an amazing thriller.

RIP

"Frailty". That was pretty good, too, and one that he directed.
