Back on my topic. I just brought Tammy home with me tonight. And she adjusted well. She doesnt know what ot make of the fish yet. But she ate and went to her crate and is sleeping. Im going to walk her and head to bed. But just thought i would end this on a high note. Tammy is a 65 pound American Bulldog. Crate trained, house broken, extremely strong and seems to be very inteligent so far. How the hell can i post her picture? I guess if anyone want to see what she lookes like jsut email me at [email protected] and i can send some pics if yer interested.

Good for you yjgfn... I'm glad you got your pup. Bulldogs are smart but make sure to do some research because they can be prone to heart problems. I'm not sure if there are any preventative measures that can be taken. Crate training is a great thing isn't it? Loki is crate trained too and with an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix with more energy than your average toddler that can be priceless! Good for you to adopt from a shelter though... those are babies who who have been in unfortunate circumstances just like the rest of us and need a good home.

As an aside, English bulldogs can have heart problems, but American bulldogs were never one that was highlighted when I was in school. But with so much inbreeding going on, who knows, new breeds emerge with problems all the time. My two cents. But I'll double check my copy of Congenital Canine Disorders.
