(Adult) Tickling turns you on more than sex?

Hi,
I've been a lurker here for a very long time, generally just listening to convo's rather than being part of them but recently I've become worried since when I last had a girlfriend (which wasnt long ago) I found that I was more turned on when tickling her, especially her feet than when it came to trying to have sex (Since Im still a virgin and Im wondering if this is a problem).
Im not sure what factors are involved, maybe its that i didnt really like her that way and she didnt really turn me on, I considered myself impotent in a way that I used to lose it if It came to trying to have sex, but had no problem when it came to tickling her?!
Is there something wrong because now Im worried that Im not going to get an erection or be able to hold it when it comes to a girl I really like and it comes down to making love, guess im worried that I could be impotent or what? Just really confused now?! i dont think I am because I dont have any trouble any other time? Anybody been through anything similar!

The erection problem you are describing often occurs in men who are not attracted to their partner in a sexual way. If it happens with other partners all or most of the time, it might just be that you aren't strongly interested in genital intercourse. Organised psychiatry calls it "hypoactive sexual desire," but it's not a problem as long as you can satisfy yourself and your partner in other ways. Many men who don't like intercourse can still have orgasms from receiving oral sex, and many women have intense orgasms from being lovingly fingered by their partner.

If this continues to bother you, I would urge you to discuss it with an understanding physician.

i have a confession to make actually, in my whole 2 or so decades of existence I have NEVER in my life in any shape or form masturbated to the thought of regular, normal sex. Up till this very day i only do it to the thought of tickling and i dont use the same masturbation method as what eveyone else does, never have, doesnt do it for me ( i dont think anyone on this entire planet does it like i do actually so i guess that makes me a freak!! :weird: ).

99% of my wanks are done with tickling in mind. I am still really turned on by sex though, I just don't tend to fantasise about it. It's only natural that you wouldn't perform if you weren't attracted to her (even if tickling her makes you hard (i can think of people i'd HATE to have sex with, but I would probably be easily aroused by tickling them)). If you're anything like me you'll be ok when you get a girlfriend you actually fancy (or even just one who knows what she's doing 😉.)

I can relate to this sentiment. Though not to the degree you speak of, tickling is linked to sex for me. I certainly can enjoy many aspects of sex, but I'm never truly happy until sensual tickling becomes a part of a relationship.
