Has he comfortably situated himself at Number 43 on the Top 43 of popular Presidents? (With no forseeable chance to move up?) :blaugh:

Personally i dont think he could find his ass with a bell on it. What he has to realize is that the country of Iraq cant defend themselves if WE ARE FIGHTING FOR THEM... :Grrr: Mr President bring our troops home now instead of sending more to a lost cause..As well as dont try to do what your father couldnt

i cant even listen to this man speak.. i dont think i have ever heard him get through a speech or presentation of any kind without stuttering and using the word um or uh.. not exactly how i imagine the leader of our country.. he should be able to at least fucking talk.. and last night was no exception.. i walked into the room, it was on, within 4 words he stuttered, i turned it off.. i cant take that shit.. id end up putting my fist through the tv

Even with the problems in Iraq, hes still better than half the presidents we've had.
I agree, if you count all 43 imaginary ones like the memorable President Max Headupmyass.

I'm sorry, but I think in the grand picture, 50 to 100 years from now (which seems to be the convenient new standard by which to measure accomplishment, when all involved will have made their money, their legacy, and be safely in the grave), he'll be judged even more oblivious of what's going on and more puppeteered than we deem him today.

Kinda makes a fella long for the days when the only bad news we got was called Monica, Whitewater and the evil, warmongering act of trying to bomb the hideout of that innocent unknown Dude...What was his name? O Salami Bennigan?

i'm with you on that one..i did however try and watch a bit, but he immediately stuttered..and didn't convince me in the least..he kept saying things like the American people are worried..i'm only worried that more and more troops will be killed or badly injured...

He has a pair of balls that speak for him. unlike the weak, pathetic liberal politicians. i wouldnt be surprised to see all the democrats having vaginas if they dropped their drawers. :wow:

He's still miles ahead of US grant

I hate how people equate verbal ability with intelligence. Yes he does stutter bad at times and is not an accomplished speaker like Bill Clinton but who cares

Confirms what I believed six years ago. This country is doomed

Until this man is out.

Some of my students today asked what I thought about the speech. I told them how I quit listening to them, because most of the time, Bush doesn't actually say anything. Words fly out of his mouth, but they don't mean too much at all. Most of the time, it's choice phrases like, "War on terrorism," "more troops to Iraq," "national security," and so on. These are becoming useless soundbites (aside from the more troops). The War on Terrorism is almost symbolic anymore; it's now looking more and more like an excuse for something else I don't think Americans are educated enough on from the government.

When Bush is finally out of office, I think all Americans have a lot of reflections to make. Bush has screwed up a lot of things, from personal privacy to education (don't even get me started on that -- he has managed to fuck up the US educational system as much as possible). I think we should all be really reflective when we cast our vote this year and look more deeply into whom we are voting for.

Would we all agree that Benjiman Franklin was one of the most brilliant minds this country, and indeed the world, has ever produced?Dr. Franklin was a very poor public speaker, and avoided doing so whenever possible.

I am not comparing the two except to point out that intellect and public speaking have nothing to do with one another.

This is how liberals are. substance means nothing to them. just good intentions is all they want.

The best thing the federal government could do for education in this country would be to abolish the Department of Education. We got along just fine for many years without it.

You misread me. I said that I told them that I don't really watch them anymore, because I don't agree. I am firmly against giving my kids any ideas because they need to formulate their own.

And hey. I'd really fucking appreciate it if you'd ask me before you make any assumptions of what I'm saying or how I do my job. I don't appreciate it when someone accusing me of "failing" my education system because of my "poisoning." You don't like what I have to say? Don't fucking listen but do NOT assume one fucking thing about me. :sowrong:

Do you use this language with your students also? 😕

Either the man is completely delusional, or he's too stubborn about forcing his rectitude down our throats at the risk of everything we hold dear.

According to Maniactickler, this is a great President. Which is why getting into an argument with this individual is an energy wasting trap.
