AICN is reporting that Joss Wheddon is in talks to do Wonder Woman

I am still thinking Catherine Zeta Jones should play her. Out of all the actress she is the most qualified. She can act. She looks like Wonder Woman. She can play aristocracy. And she is a box office draw. She can also be believable doing Wonder Woman things. I wish this had come around in 1998 when her star was on the rise as it would have been a done deal then, but lets hope this is all true.

Factually speaking, Buggs, I would love to see Mr. Whedon cast Eliza Dushku(Faith from "Buffy" and "Angel") for the role of Wonder Woman. To me that would be a fresh and interesting twist. And she is quite acrobatic as she displayed in the movie "Bring It On". Dushku was a former gymnast as a matter of fact, and for the role of Wonder Woman, one has to have that quality, if you remember watching the old Lynda Carter series. Just my two cents.

Being acrobatic might help, but I think they'll go with the more modern, flying Wonder Woman (I'd think younger people would know the modern comic and cartoon version better ). I'm sure WW can be acrobatic if she wants to be, but in the comics and in the JL cartoon, she seems to fight a little more like Superman. But unlike him, she could probably still kick ass without her powers. After all, she is an Amazon warrior princess.

Wether they go with the "men suck, who needs em" WW(from the JL cartoon, but she eventually got over the idea that all men were bad) or the one in the comics, as long as they keep the parts that make her Wonder Woman, it should be alright.
