Toe-rific Album Cover Art

I remember an album back around 1968 by Paul Mauriat called "Love Is Blue". On the cover was a photo of a woman wearing nothing but body paint (which I imagine felt pretty tickly when it was applied). Her feet were enticingly prominent on that album cover and I would have bought that for the artwork alone. ('Love Is Blue' is a beautiful instrumental so I can't knock the music) Anyone else seen an album/CD cover showing pretty feet?

Thank you, Toyou444! Actually, that album cover puts the one I've seen to shame! See, the one I had featured Paul Mauriat's name clearly on the cover. But the cover you featured...man, I can only imagine what that lady was thinking as the paint brushes glided over her skin. If anyone has a photo of the Paul Mauriat album, please display it. Eureka! Man, you are something else, touyou444! That is the very same album cover I was earlier discussing. That other one ain't bad, either! Thank you! I remember two other items that featured feet...there's an album by Great White with some really pretty feet showing (I can't remember the title) and there's a Linda Ronstadt album called 'Silk Purse' that shows her pretty feet. They called her The Barefoot Contessa because she always performed onstage barefoot.

You did it again,toyou444, and again, etc.etc. Is there no album that you can't find? Don't the Dixie Chicks have their feet appearing on the actual CD disc of "Fly" or something? An acquaintance of mine had that disc and I had to keep the drool under control or this person would learn my secret. (He was a client of mine and I had just met him. He showed me that CD talking about how good the music was. If he only knew...)

Those Dixie Chicks pix are fantastic! They've gotta be tickle freaks themselves. I just thought of another album cover (sorry, but I'm too new to computers to download a photo). How about 'The Ohio Players-Gold'? There is a beautiful black woman on the cover with her feet looking very desirable...the rest of her ain't bad, either. Anyone else have other thoughts on the subject? Thanks again, Toyou444!

I'm not sure of the album title but there is one of Jennifer Love-Hewitt sitting on her feet with the bottom of her right foot totally exposed

Jennifer Love-Hewitt probably has nice soft soles. I normally don't buy much of today's music, being a child of the 60's and 70's. I do like Norah Jones but I saw a picture of her with bare feet and I'm sorry, but they looked like men's feet. (Prove me wrong, Norah!) Now Beyonce's feet are probably beautiful! And that Fiona Apple video had bare feet all over the place! We've got to let these pop stars know that their feet appearing on album covers might encourage Deadheads like me to pick up a copy or two. (See, I even said 'album covers'. I'm not that old)

After all, you're the one making this topic a success!)I'll present you with a new challenge...Black Oak Arkansas had an album back in '75 or so featuring a barefoot beauty lying in hay. I forgot the title but 'Jim Dandy' was one of the tracks. Can you, or anyone name that album? By the way, the Jennifer Love-Hewitt CD cover is fantastic! I may have to add that to my collection (but I'll use the actual disc as a coaster)

I can't possibly think of every album cover featuring feet by myself! I'm not even sure if there are any covers featuring tickling. That would be tough to find. I just thought of one, but it may be obscure. I believe it's from Rhino Records and it is a compilation album of 1960's party songs. (Maybe '70's, too) The cover shows a group of people wearing togas. Placed prominently in the center is a woman sitting with her leg outstretched. Her lady friend appears to be tickling her friend's foot. Does anyone know which CD that appears on?

Man! You got me on that one! I HAD that disc in college...well, my roommate did...and I used it several times to ask girls if they were ticklish too! But I can't find the darn picture anywhere!

That's it!!! The lady getting tickled looks like someone I exchanged tickles with once or twice. This is fantastic! If I were computer savvy I'd enter a few photos, too. For the ladies, they might want to look at Paul McCartney's feet on the cover of The Beatles' "Abbey Road". Surely everyone has seen that!

I no longer have this cd, but I'm sure a search can be done. The disc is a "greatest hits" package by 80s band Total Coelo. Their one greatest hit was called "I Eat Cannibal".
Anyway, on the back of this cd is a picture of all 5 girls in the band sitting in their pajamas under a blanket with 4 of the girls bare soles sticking out of the blanket.

Just thought I'd add another foot-related album cover. It's from a UK band called Lupine Howl, and the album is called "The Carnivorous Lunar Activities of Lupine Howl" from 2001...

Grippedchimp, that album cover made my day, and it's still morning here! I don't care what the music sounds like, I'm getting me a copy of that! It'd be funny if those feet belonged to some big bearded biker. (Shudder) I'm thinking maybe it's time to think of album covers that feature tickle areas other than feet. Feet are always welcome, though!
