I heard on the radio today that he was attempting repeatedly to surrender to Coalition forces in Baghdad, but that we keep refusing him because he isn't on our list of wanted Iraqi officials.

That sounded odd at first, but it makes sense of a sort. It's not like he ever demonstrated knowing any reliable information...
